Very well detailed. This is the deluxe, complete issue with all three kits included - the main factory, cooling tower and icing platform. The majority of the parts are wood stock cut to length, carved wood cut to shape and precolored, completely die-cut very heavy cardstock that is as thick as injection molded plastic parts. In addition there are metal ladders, clear windows with printed mullion detail, signs, etc. The kit has never been started. One bag of pre-cut wood parts is still factory sealed; another bag with the signs, windows, etc is still factory sealed; all the factory cut-to-length stock is still in the factory rubber bands; the '300 lb ice cakes' are still in the factory sealed bag; none of the die-cut stock parts have been removed, so they are in mint condition. That leaves just one wooden parts bag - it has been opened. It appears to be complete as best I can tell; however, it was impossible to inventory it properly since all the other bags of small wood parts are still sealed. So something may be missing from this one bag; the good news is that it is made from wood and can be easily made from the instructions. Includes three sheets of instructions.

Fantastic wartime solid wood model kit. Burkard called these kits 'Giant Solids' and rightfully so - this is a large 1/48 scale Hudson. They pulled out most of the stops on this, as it was an expensive, deluxe kit. Features fully carved hardwood fuselage, wings cut to profile and rough cut to airfoil shape, profile cut nacelles, horizontal and vertical stabilizers, cowl blocks, other pre-cut wood as needed, fully carved main wheels and tail wheel, metal foil, an unopened tube of cement, full color RAF insignia sheet and another color sheet with Japanese and German kill markings/ships sunk. The full size building plans are excellent, well drawn and detailed. They includes three views, a photo of the real aircraft, paint guide, template for the wings and fuselage and building instructions. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes both insignia sheets and instructions.

The Arsenal Ship was (and is) a fantastic concept with 500 or more VLS tubes and a length of up to 800 feet. Such a ship could be used to inflict sever losses on enemy ground units during mass operations much faster than aircraft could, and would of course be a huge asset in attacking any larger, well defended surface force. This is an excellent model done in high definition resin and measuring almost 14 inches long when assembled. The kit has never been started. Wonderful kit with legendary LS quality. Unusual model of the Dinah dual pilot trainer. The instructor rode above and behind the student in the extra canopy bubble. Kit is very highly detailed with interior and full recessed panel line detail. NOTE: the kit has no assembly but has minor painting. The struts, tires and tail wheel have been neatly painted. Quality of paint is excellent. There is no other painting. The kit has been inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. Still factory sealed and from the late 1970s/early 1980s. It is perhaps the best injection-molded Ark Royal kit. Full hull model is very nicely detailed and includes aircraft. This aircraft carrier was the third vessel of the Royal Navy to be named Ark Royal - the first ship took part in the defeat of the Spanish Armada, and the second was being constructed as a tanker when the Royal Navy took it over and converted it to become the first seaplane carrier. The Ark Royal III was launched in April 13, 1937 and was very active during WWII. She was reported sunk several times by German sources. She took part in the defense of Norway. In October of that year, she and Renown went to the South Atlantic to hunt for the Graf Spee. Later her Skuas took part in a gallant but failed attack the Scharnhorst. She then moved to Gibraltar with Force H. In May of 1941, she took part in the search for the Bismarck. Her Swordfish torpedo aircraft scored two hits, one of which jammed the rudders of the German Battleship while she was in a tight turn. This hit sealed the fate of Bismarck, and she was sunk. If this hit would not have occurred, she would have made safe haven at Brest. In November of 1941, the Ark Royal was working the dangerous escort of Malta convoys when she was struck by a torpedo from U-81. Despite all attempts to save her, she went down. Only one sailor lost his life.
