Rare 1960s issue with very colorful Trans-Canada decals. This was an excellent kit for the time with rotating wheels and props, clear windows for the cabin and cockpit, full landing gear, optional position cabin doors and two boarding stairs with railings. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. The decals look 'excellent++. The British were very quick to design and build successful turbo (jet) prop airliners after the war. The turboprops had superior speed, range and fuel economy. The Vanguard was one of several excellent designs. She cruised at 425 MPH with a full passenger load and 7 to 8 tons of cargo below the cabin.

The airwing is still factory sealed and all other parts have been 1nventoried 100% complete and include decals and instructions. NOTE: the decal sheet is for CV59 Forrestal and CV60 Saratoga. There are no CV62 decals. The instructions have a stain on the very lower section.
