Rare early issue from 1959. Can be built as factory stock, beautifully customized by the Alexander Brothers or as a race car. Very nicely molded and detailed. Stock version features 348 CID engine with 3x2 and correct large air cleaner, detailed engine compartment, opening hood, molded in chassis detail with separately molded rear and front suspension, drive shaft, shocks, sway bar, lower control arms and more, full interior and opening tail gate. Other versions include a blown Cadillac engine, racing exhaust headers, custom open wheels or chromed wheels with knock-offs, interior with center console, 'Cal Custom' T shifter and Sun Tach, bed tonneau cover with hydraulic lifts, recording console, lake pipes, custom tail lights, spotlights and full custom front end. Molded in light blue, clear, red-tint clear, chrome and with rubber tires. The kit has never been started. The 'stock' version is complete with all parts, but (1) race exhaust is broke in two (easily fixed) and (1) custom bumperette is missing. Otherwise inventoried with all other parts, decals and instructions present.

The '72 Stepside can be built in stock or custom versions. The '55 is an excellent kit with over 115 parts. Features full frame rolling chassis construction - just like the actual vehicle. NOTE: this kit has very neat sub-assembly. The engine has been built; quality of assembly is 'professional.' The front axle, steering linkage, hubs and wheels has been assembled; quality is 'very good.' Alignment and function is excellent but there is some visible glue, hence the lower grade. There is no other assembly and zero painting. Inventoried complete with all parts and instructions.

First issue of this legendary kit. 1968 model includes realistic electric 'Jet Sound.' Very nicely detailed with 207 parts. Features crew of three, detailed cockpit, elevating and traversing rear turret, opening and closing bomb bay doors, operating wing flaps, operating spoilers, optional position entry hatch and landing gear, and optional parts to display one nacelle open to show the jet engine. There is no internal 'presentation' cardboard or glue. Never started. The motor, contacts and hardware are still in the factory sealed bag. The plastic parts have been inventoried complete with all parts, decals and instructions. The instructions, B-52 Book and decals are present and in 'very good' condition. The instructions have minor writing on them. Please NOTE the cockpit window is broken in to two parts, which is typical of these kits. Luckily, 90% of the split is on a canopy frame with only a tiny part extending outside the frame line. The box displays much better than the 'good+' rating but is graded as such because there is a rough residue from masking tape on the lower part of the box sides. No tape is left - the adhesive failed and it all fell off. There are no tears, just a rough texure where the tape was.
