This large-scale kit is very well molded for that time and features fine surface detail, moving flaps, ailerons, elevators and rudder and features a full crew. Never started. It has been inventoried 100% complete. Decals and instructions are both in 'Near Mint' condition. The box is in 'excellent+' condition with perfect gloss and color, four solid corners, no repairs, no tags or tag marks, no fading, creases or stains and no torn or missing litho. Flaws include light edge & corner wear as shown and very light general wear.

1980 issue. Very large (1/32) scale Starfighter that can be built as the USAF C or Canadian G variant. Features good cockpit, detailed landing gear and gear wells, real rubber tires, cannon bay with Vulcan gun and optional position access door, tip tanks, AIM-7 Sparrow and AIM-9 Sidewinder air-to-air missiles, iron bomb load, choice of C or G nose probes, refueling probe, and painting guide and decals for both aircraft. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. The aircraft 'Smoke II' took part in the Vietnam war, and here is the bio from Arizonawrecks.com - '1 August 1966, at the same time that Capt Kwortnik's flight was encountering intense ground fire, another flight of Starfighters was escorting F-105 Wild Weasels over Thai Nguyen when one of them suddenly turned into a ball of flame. This was assumed to be another SA-2 SAM hit, and the pilot Lt. Colonel Arthur Thomas Finney was posted as missing, later KIA (his remains were returned to the USA 14 August 1985). This aircraft had the nickname "Smoke II" on its nose.'

Rare 1975 Japan issue with unique and beautiful box artwork. As with most Japan issues, this one contains extra features not available in other issues. First, there are decals for a total of two aircraft. Second, the huge 16.5" x 11.5" instruction front page is a full-color, glossy painting guide for the model and also has a large color photo of the assembled kit. Large-scale and well detailed (for that time) model of the British night fighter with airborne interception radar. The Beaufighter was flown by aces such like Flt./Lt. "Cat's Eyes" Cunningham, whose markings are included. His final score stood at 20 victories and his aircraft is one that can be depicted in this model. Features detailed Bristol Hercules engines, removable cowling, two flight crew, optional position landing gear, full crew cockpits and radar antenna. Never started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions. My friend and model builder Stephen Payne high recommends that the purchaser of any Beaufighter Night Fighter model invests in a copy of the book "Night Fighter" by C.F. Rawnsley. Rawnsley was John Cunningham's Airborne Intercept radar operator throughout WWII in both Beaufighters and Mosquitoes. The book is the story of their time and combat together and makes excellent reading.

Rare 1975 Japan issue with unique and beautiful box artwork. As with most Japan issues, this one contains extra features including decals for two aircraft and a large, full color painting on the front of the instructions. Older but nicely detailed, large-scale model of this British night fighter with airborne interception radar. The Beaufighter was flown by aces such like Flt./Lt. "Cat's Eyes" Cunningham, whose markings are included. His final score stood at 20 victories and his aircraft is one that can be depicted in this model. This model features detailed Bristol Hercules engines, removable cowling, two flight crew, optional position landing gear, full crew cockpits and radar antenna. The kit has never been started. The small parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags; the large parts are not sealed and have been inventoried complete. Includes decals and instructions. 1956 first and only issue in very good condition. The box has excellent color and gloss, four solid corners with no repairs, no rips, no tears and no fading. It shows the typical stains from the factory 'gift set' ribbons that Revell shipped these kits with. Never started. All three aircraft are still in the original factory sealed clear plastic bags. All paper work and the famous Revell Swivel Stands are in the factory sealed bags as well. The correct center factory divider is still present in the tray (box bottom) and there is a small, unopened, factory wrapped tube of Revell "S" Cement included.

$475
Rare 1956 Revell Gift set containing all three ships and even the unopened tube of colorful Revell "S" cement. This was the first and only issue of this specific gift set and features spectacular special box artwork. The tugboat is 1/108 scale and the tanker and cargo ship are both 1/400. Inside, the kit is 100% correct. The special color cardboard over lay is factory fresh. The tug and C-3 lower hulls are factory painted red (the T-2 was molded in red so it was not painted). Decals are included. The instruction sheets are excellent with the typical yellowing as the only flaw. The three kits have not been started. The tug and freighter still have the small parts in the factory sealed clear bags; the parts that were never sealed have been inventoried complete. The tanker has been inventoried 100% complete. All three kits include decals and instructions. The box has brilliant color and gloss, four solid corners and no repairs. There is no tape, tape marks, price tags or price tag marks. However, there is moderate and light general wear and 'dings' on the two lower corners as shown. Shipping insurance is required with this kit.
Plastic Model Kit, Box Condition: NM
$195
Rare first issue with the 1.25 inch high pre-'S' hardbox vs. the later standard size 1.4 inch box. This kit has the correct short-lived 1st issue 2 piece stand as opposed to the later standard 4 piece stand. The early stand with this kit has a base and an arm - the arm has three prongs. This stand was discontinued shortly after introduction as it broke very easily. Inside, the kit is mint. The small parts still sealed in factory cello bag. Never started. Factory sealed bag or inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions.

Rare, first issue dated 1958 with "S" cement logos on the box sides. Please note that Revell soon made drastic modifications to this mold, which made a reissue impossible. This is the first cut-away Polaris sub with interior that got Revell in hot water with the US Government - the Navy had thought that Revell had breeched security to obtain the details for the model. This one is in exceptional condition with 'excellent+' color and gloss, for solid corners with no repairs, no price tags or tag marks, no tape or tape marks other than the factory tape marks and no fading. The only flaws are general light and even wear. The model was highly detailed for that time will full interior and snap-off starboard hull half and two Polaris missiles that 'fire' using spring power. The kit has never been started. Molded in the correct gloss medium gray, light green and black plastic. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions as well as the special booklet 'The Story of Our Underwater Nuclear Navy.'

SALE!! 1955 first issue. It is easy to see how this era of Revell artwork is considered the peak of model kit box art. This kit features working rotors, detailed rotor heads, detailed cockpit and pilot figure, opening rear drive-on cargo door and more. Never started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. NOTE: the box displays 'near mint' but is only graded 'excellent' because there is a 1" x 1/2" tape pull on the top long side.

1971 issue of this large-scale and well detailed kit with RAF South East Asian markings. Features a detailed R-2800 engine with removable access panels, fully detailed cockpit, pilot figure, rotating wheels and propeller, detailed gear wells and more. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions present. Decals are for GQ-F FL804 of 134 Sqdn., 1944-45. This aircraft is reported to have participated in the reconquest of Burma, and to have flown ground attack missions in support of the Allied landings at Rangoon. It appears the box artist may have intended to depict that operation (thanks to Dusty Rhodes for that information about the box art aircraft).
