Early issue from 1965. This is one of the famous ships from Pyro's 'Round the World' Boats collection. Full hull model measures 9 inches long when assembled. 1972 hardbox issue with dramatic John Steel artwork. From the same molds as the classic 1950s kit. Large scale, full hull kit is well detailed for that time. Features finely engraved hull with raised panel lines, detailed superstructure with ammo boxes, pump case, life rafts and rings, searchlights, horn, DF loop antenna, clear windows, ships wheel and even tiny engine speed control levers. Weapons include 20mm gun with magazine and shield, two angled Mk20 boxes, depth charges and racks and two hedge-hog launchers with four hedgehogs each. Deck fittings are complete with bitts, hatches, towline bitt and stops, staffs, vents, anchor, lifeboat, mast with radar antenna and platform light and stanchions that you can easily rig to create a railing. Includes a nice display stand. NOTE: this kit has minor but neat assembly. The hull halves and shaft alleys have been assembled. Quality of assembly is 'excellent+' with perfect alignment and even the deck dry fits beautifully. There is no other assembly. The kit has been inventoried complete with all parts, decals flags and instructions. Please NOTE that the instructions have bug damage but are usable for assembly. The decals have bug damage to the backing paper only; the actual transfers are fine. The flag sheet has no damage. The 95' U.S. Coast Guard Cutter 95304, a Coastal Patrol Boat was one of 36 boats built between 1953 and 1959. These cutters were stationed all along the U.S. coasts and performed Search and Rescue missions, and Port Security duty. Nine of the vessels were transferred to South Korea. The remaining vessels remained on active Coast Guard duty until 1986 to 1990. They were replaced with a succession of 82', 87' and 110' Patrol Boats.

First release dated 1954 in the low profile box (1" high vs. 1.5" high for later issues). Includes correct first issue globe stand with three parts instead of four. The instructions also show the three piece stand. This kit even has the factory-corrected decal sheet (see below). The box has 'very good' color and gloss, four solid corners and no tape, tape marks, price tags or tag marks. There is light to moderate general wear and a crease on the left in the G in Boeing. The kit has never been started. Inside it is factory new with all small parts still sealed in the factory krinkle bag, and the parts that were never factory sealed are complete. With decals and instructions. This is such an early issue that it has the earliest decal sheet which has an error. There is suppose to be a triangle on each side of the fuselage near the cockpit. The original sheet has just one of these - Revell had to issue a second decal sheet with the kit with another triangle on it. That extra decal sheet is present in this kit.
