Very large and highly detailed kit from 1979. Measures 28 inches long when assembled. Features full hull, highly detailed deck fittings, display stand, detailed rigging instructions, two weights of rigging line, metal anchor chain and much more. Molded in black, beige and brown with ivory sails. This model was originally issued by Imai and usually did not include sails. Monogram leased the molds and ran this kit in the USA for a very short time and included a very nice set of finely molded vacuform billowing sails. The sails are in rare 'near mint' condition. The model has never been started. Most parts are still in the factory sealed bags. The larger parts that were never internally sealed have been inventoried complete. Includes flags, decals, rigging material and instructions.
