Limited run kit, one of 2000 made. Nicely done with fine recessed panel lines and extensive cast metal details. The kit has never been started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions. This was the ultimate Warhawk, but was too late to go into production for the war. One airframe with three variants was built; this is the final variant with the enclosed wing radiators. She had a top speed of 422 mph, making it the fastest P-40. This aircraft was used as an air racer but was lost in an accident during the 1947 Thompson Trophy race.

Features all die-cut quality balsa fuselage sides, formers, wings and tails, formed wire landing gear struts, finished wheels, plastic prop, spinner and thrust button, metal prop shaft, other wood parts as required, perfect clear vacuform canopy that has not even yellowed, decals, inspection certificate, rubber motor and superb instructions with plans. Never started and inventoried complete.

From roughly the 1970s. Large 61 inch wingspan sport or low wing trainer. Power is recommended as .35 to .45 2-cycle or .40-.5 4-cycle gas engines (not included). The design is for RC throttle, ailerons, elevator and rudder. Simple and strong, interlocking balsa and plywood construction that Goldberg was famous for. This kit has not been started. The parts have not been punched out and the smaller parts are still in the factory sealed bags. Includes full size plans and 'General' instructions. NOTE: this kit came with 'General' and 'Specific' instruction books. The 'General' one is present but he 'Specific' one is missing. This is not a complicated design, so the the excellent full size plans will do fine if you are an experienced builder.

Still factory sealed. Purchased new on April 19, 1967 at the hobby shop on State Road in Cleveland, OH. This kit is part of Sterling's expensive big-wingspan series that was designed for R/C and also includes numerous extra parts for control line operation. Can also be flown free-flight. Very nicely produced stick-and-tissue model that features high quality die-cut balsa sheet parts, stripwood and spars, fully formed wire landing gear struts, finished wheels, other wood and metal stock as required, light plastic engine, cowl and other details, clear windows, rubber motor, plastic prop, a big set of decals, coving tissue and excellent full size plans with detailed instructions. Sterling was a famous manufacturer dating back to the 1930/40s flying model craze. Although they continued to produce kits for decades after the flying model slump following World War II, they eventually fell victim to the general lack of interest in modeling that occurred in the early 1980s. I always considered Sterling kits to be deluxe kits as they had the action features and included everything needed to complete the model.

Classic large (24" long) Cold War SSBN with amazing and dramatic box art. Original issue from the late 1950s; not the common reissue. Features full interior which the starboard hull half swings down to display. The interior detail on the box top is very well and close to exactly duplicated by this kit. Features rotating propeller, working diving planes, rudder, periscopes, snorkels and actual 'launching' Polaris missile from a spring loaded tube. Includes two Polaris A-1 missiles, crew members and display stand. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. NOTE: the box displays well but has significant wear and scuffs as shown and also litho tears and a closed rip on the box sides. I would not grade it in 'collectible' condition but just below that.
