From ex-Frog molds. Well done model of the high speed British research aircraft. Never started. Factory sealed bag or inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. Box art is by the famous Jo Kotula who did 1930s covers for the magazine 'Model Airplane News' and later the Aurora box art of the late 1950s. Air Lines kits are all Frog molds that the Lines Brothers imported to the USA between 1964-1966. The kits, decals and instructions were made in England, then imported to the USA where Testors created the boxes with the colorful trading cards on the back. There are one or two trading cards on each box which show the boxart but not the advertising/logo.

Includes real rubber wheels, still-boxed Mabuchi 13 motor, metal gearbox, shafts and gears other metal parts and a still sealed tube of glue. 1985 first issue. This kit has something that has not been issued since: markings for the first and only US Navy Aces in the Vietnam war, Randy Cunningham and Willie Driscoll. Still factory sealed. Very hard-to-find 1989 kit. Contains all three automobiles. The Firebird is a street or strip racer, but the Thunderbird and Beretta are full-blown funny cars. The two funny cars features complete engine, complete roll cage and interior and removable hood and body. The Firebird has a full blown 350 CID with twin carbs, detailed chassis and interior, opening hood and pivoting front wheels.

1964 hardbox issue. Nicely molded and detailed 1/48 scale kit. Has decals for Israeli or USAF versions. NOTE: the inside of the cockpit (on the fuselage) has been painted zinc chromate green. Paint quality is very good. There is no other painting and no assembly. NOTE: missing clear landing light. Otherwise inventoried with all other parts including decals and instructions. NOTE: the pilot, struts, spinner and propeller bushings are a different color plastic. They are correct for the Hawk 1/48 P-51 but are from a later issue.

Great older kit with nice detail. Hardbox is dated 1965 and shows a action diorama with both Jugs warming the engines up. Can make Razorback or Bubble Top versions. Has markings for ace Robert S. Johnson with the 56th FG and 28 confirmed kills. The other markings are for an RAF aircraft seen at Newark, NJ on Feb. 16, 1945 (see notes below). NOTE: one drop tank has been assembled and primed. Excellent quality assembly with no gaps and no visible glue. No other paint or assembly. Factory sealed bag or inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. NOTE: the antenna is correct for a Hawk P-47, but is a different color plastic as it is from a later issue. 5 transfers were cut from the decal sheet and two (of four) large British roundels are missing.

1972 Big 'A' logo issue. In the late 1960s, Aurora realized that it would have to produce more realistic models due to the changing tastes of model builders. From that date forward, Aurora produced some very good kits - this A-7 is one of those. Nicely molded with recessed panel lines. Features positionable elevators, retractable landing gear, pilot and cockpit detail, AIM-9 Sidewinder missiles and 6 pylons with an extensive iron bomb and drop tank loadout.
