Aurora Boeing KC-135 Stratotanker, 1/125, 143-130

Plastic Model Kit,   Box Condition: Sealed Mint

$79

Still mint in the factory seal. Dated 1963 and from the larger (1/125 scale) of the two ex-Comet molds. Kit features cockpit and cabin clear windows and full landing gear and a 'tanker' rear end and flying boom (although the box art does not show it). Molded in gloss gray and clear. This model was given a clear Aurora two piece 'triangle world' stand, unlike many of the other Comet kits which only had a modified version of their original stands included. Of course this is not the production KC-135 but a model of the Boeing prototype.

Aurora Boeing B-29 Superfortress, 1/76, 372-259

Plastic Model Kit,   Box Condition: VG

$125

Rare 1957-1962 issue retaining the same artwork as the 1956 issue. This kit has arguably the most dramatic and fanciful B-29 composition from the 'Golden Era' of modeling. Note the square 'Northern Lights' logo has been replaced with the 'Famous Fighters' Aurora sunburst oval logo and there is a '$2.59' price circle at the upper right. I believe the 3rd issue. The box is in 'very good' condition with nice color and gloss. There are no split corner and no repairs. It does have general even wear. Molded in gloss silver and clear, with a big clear 'triangle-based' Aurora stand. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes 'near mint' condition decals and instructions. Responding to market information that boys wanted larger kits, Aurora introduced the B-26 followed by the B-29 and B-25, all of which sold well for many years- almost right up until the end.

$125

Still factory sealed and the seal has drawn the box top concave. Very rare Lodela issue. Please note the 30th anniversary of Lodela logo at the top right. The kit appears to be from the mid to late 1980s as the side panel mentions that in 1987 Aerolineas Argentinas celebrates 20 years of service between Argentina and Mexico. Features extensive decals with all side stripes, fin flash, name boards and more, fine raised and many recessed panel lines, detailed landing gear that can be built retracted or extended, detail main gear bay, good engine inlet and exhaust detail and a large display stand.

Heller Boeing 707 Air France Chaleau de Chambord, 1/125, L700

Plastic Model Kit,   Box Condition: Good-

$125

Very rare, from the late 1950s. Early Heller issue with fantastic artwork. Some early Heller kits had some wonderful engineering (such as in the Etendard IV) and this model is no exception. You can built this model and will look like the airplane on the cover with no painting at all. The kit is molded in white, gray/silver, clear and includes black rubber tires. The fuselage lower section is molded in gray/silver along with the wings and engines, and the upper fuselage is in white. There are two sheets of colorful Air France decals including complete side pinstripes and tail 'feathers' all in 'excellent+' condition. The landing gear and gear doors can be positioned up or down. This kit has never been started. The parts are still in the internally sealed factory bags. Includes decals, instructions and the correct large black display stand.

Aurora Boeing F4B-4 - (F4B4), 1/48, 122-79

Plastic Model Kit,   Box Condition: VG+++

$65

1958 issue with fantastic Jo Kotula boxart. This is the Parents' Magazine issue with the seal located in the lower right. Classic 1930s Navy Biplane Fighter that is still famous for their colorful paint jobs at that that time. Cowl, tail and trim color would vary with the Aircraft Carrier (Ranger, Lexington or Saratoga) that the group was based on and the aircraft's position in the flight formation. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions.

Landing gear can be built up or down as can the rear passenger loading ramp (Airstair Door).

Special late 1950 or very early 1960s promotional model given away by RCA to promote the new 'Jetliner' television sets.
