Rare. Still factory sealed. This is the very first issue from the 1950s. The paper header has the correct Type One logo and is in 'excellent' condition. The primary flaw is the damage shown at the upper left from a removed price tag.

Still family sealed. Limited release injection-molded kit of the domestically-produced Australian WWII Trainer. The Wackett, named after it's designer Lawrence Wackett, was the first aircraft produced by the Commonwealth Aircraft Corporation of Australia. The plane was a successful trainer and enjoyed a long service life. After WWII, many were transfered to civil hands and some were sold to the Dutch East Indies. The Indonesian Air Force absorbed these aircraft at independence. Some civil planes were converted to KS-3 Cropmaster agricultural aircraft.

This hard-to-find armor kit is dated 1963 and has John Steel hardbox artwork. Aurora made excellent armor kits for that time and this is no exception. In the early 1960s modeling reviewers declared them as the finest armor kits in any scale. Molded in gloss olive drab with flexible black treads. NOTE: this kit has been started and has 'professional' quality sub-assembly as noted here: partial scratch-built interior installed; turret halves built; side panels to lower hull. Lower turret plate trimmed to clear interior detail. There is no other assembly. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decal and instructions present.

This 1981 reissue of the famous 1957 'S' Kit comes with a large Sopwith Camel T-Shirt Iron On. It is very rare that the iron-on is still there. This big 1/28 scale kit is nicely molded and detailed for that time. Features detailed rotary engine the moves with the prop, authentic fine fabric texture finish over ribs, complete cockpit with movable control stick and rudder bar, removable cowling, standing pilot figure, complete rigging instructions and more. Never started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. NOTE: one part is neatly broken in two (#38) but is a simple repair if you wish to build the kit.

Comet Zipper A Class A Gas Free Flight Aircraft - With 32 Inch Wingspan, T12

Very rare. This is the smaller version of the famous Comet Zipper, the "A" variant made to run in the smaller Class "A" Category. The kit features traditional balsa wood and tissue construction, detailed full size plans, six sheets of high quality printwood, die-cut plywood firewall/motor mount, stripwood, full-size plans and covering issue. The kit has not been started. It has been inventoried and NOTE: missing the (2) metal motor mounts (simple 'L' brackets) and screws/hardware. All are easily replaced. Otherwise complete with all other parts and paperwork present. Comet was a famous manufacturer of stick and tissue flying and static models. In the 1930s Great Depression, they lead the low-priced kit revolution with the "Dime Scale" kits and famous advertisements in Model Airplane News magazine and others. Comet reached it's peak in the 1930s when they acquired the services of Carl Goldberg. Goldberg was a highly accomplished modeler with articles in Model Airplane News and famous designs that won him several National level competitions in the 1930s and beyond. (Carl Goldberg went on to found his own company and produced well designed and popular free-flight and RC aircraft). Comet survived the post World War economic slump and continued kit production until they were bought out by long-time competitor Guillow's in 1998.
