Revell Woodstock 1930 Ford Woody Station Wagon, 1/25, H1324

Plastic Model Kit,   Box Condition: VG+

$48

Dated 1974. In the 1960/70s Revell issued some amazingly well detailed 1/25 scale automotive models that were exhaustively researched from the actual vehicles. The '30 Woody is one of those classic kits. It is molded in light wood tan and chrome with rubber tires and clear window material. The model builds up a rolling chassis just like the actual automobile. Features stock Model A engine, optional modified engine with custom speed equipment (chromed dual carbs, intake manifold, side valve cover, valve cover and headers), detailed suspension, spoke wheels, full engine compartment, hood that opens like the real car, complete interior and opening doors and tailgate. The kit has never been started. Inventoried complete with all parts and instructions present.

Suitable for Slot Car racing. Molded in a stunning gloss Pepto-Bismol Pink, clear and chrome plated plastic. Features a detailed underside chassis with separately molded front axle and suspension, full interior and even decals. NOTE: this kit has minor and very neat assembly. The two sides and hood have been glued to the chassis. Quality of the work done is 'near mint++.' All is perfectly straight, the gaps are as minimal as they could ever be and the rear deck dry fits perfectly. There is no other assembly. Inventoried complete with all parts, decals and instructions present.

Life-Like 1934 Ford Three Window Coupe - (ex-Pyro), 1/32, C308-70

Plastic Model Kit,   Box Condition: VG++

$26

1970s early Life-Like issue from 1960s Pyro molds - note it still has the Pyro kit number. Features well detailed underside chassis with separately molded front axle and suspension, full interior, wire wheels and more. Molded in deep blue and clear. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes instructions. In the early to mid 1960s the Pyro company chose many kit subjects based more on historical significance than popularity. Luckily for us, Pyro not only made these kits but did an excellent job for the time. The Pyro car models are based on the actual cars that Pyro engineers and designers had access to. In some cases, the specific car and owner is on the box. Pyro advertised these as ideal for slot car conversion.

MPM Aichi M6A1-K Nanzan - (M6A1K), 1/72, 72014

Plastic Model Kit,   Box Condition: Good-

$32

Early in the development of the Seiran submarine based float plane, two preproduction airframes emerged with retractable landing gear for land operation. These were likely the 5th and 6th prototypes and they had dual controls. They were given the 'K' designation for trainer. They could also be operated from the submarines as they had the same catapult attachment. Training may have taken place like this with and airbase landing. It is interesting that the original Seiran concept did not call for floats as the aircraft would launch from the submarine catapult and crash-land beside the submarine when the mission was over. Limited edition kit. Features fine recessed panel line detail and decals for both aircraft. The kit has never been started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions.

O-Lin Ryan Navion / North American Aviation NA-143 - (Lindberg), 1/48, 507

Plastic Model Kit,   Box Condition: VG+++

$125

Very rare kit for the advanced collector. This is a very hard to find original O-lin kit in the small box and advertisement for O-line cement on the top. Production first began in 1949 or just before. O-Lin (Olin) was founded by Paul Lindberg and a Mr. Olsen - hence the company name. Although a producer of flying models in the 1930s, O-lin produced some of the earliest American injection molded kits in the late 1940s. In 1950 the partnership may have ended, because all branding was changed to Lindberg and Paul Lindberg. Inside, the kit is as new. It is molded in high gloss ivory. I have seen many cases where Paul Lindberg used up the old O-Lin stock, combining different sets of instructions and decals resulting in odd combinations. While I admire his efficiency, it makes does make collecting these unique. This model has the O-Lin box, O-Lin instructions, O-Lin parts and the earliest 'Lindberg Products' decals dated 11/1952 on the back. The kit has never been started and is inventoried complete with all parts, instructions and decals. The Navion was originally produced by North American Aviation as a high performance sport plane, but they sold them to the US Air Force as well. North American sold the rights to Ryan, who continued to successfully produce the aircraft.
