It was intended to be a high speed, long range heavy attack fighter with an ejection seat and pressurized cockpit. Four were built, but the RLM never assigned any priority to the project. By that time, jets showed more promise and work was stopped.

Rare 1966 complete slot car issue that features monocoque chassis with a low, slim profile, high speed Tiger Super X-88 Motor with special windings for extra power and rapid acceleration, brass frame with swing pickup and adjustable wheel base, lower center of gravity, precision machines aluminum wheels, nylon guide, braided wire brushes, new wider rear tires, decals and more. The car has never been run; the pickup was never installed and the brushes never used. The entire model is in 'near mint' condition and nothing is broken or repaired; it is in superb physical condition. NOTE: this kit has 'near mint' to 'professional' quality assembly, clearly done by an experienced adult. The model is about 90% assembled; everything except the pickup is in place. All pickup parts and brushes are present. The model is inventoried 100% complete with all parts and instructions present; decals are applied and the not used decals are also present. Even the colorful internal cardboard store display piece is present.

The Heyford was the last big biplane bomber to serve with the RAF and equipped 11 First-Line Squadrons at the time. The prototype first few in 1930 and had many novel features such as retractable ventral turret and the wing attached to the underside of the top wing for excellent visibility. It was soon nicknamed 'Express Bomber' due to it's ability to carry a large bomb load, fly at high speeds and be rapidly re-armed, serviced and repaired. This model includes parts and decals for all three variants from 102(B) RAF Sq. 1938, No. 99 Sq 1934 and No. 7(B) Sq. 1935. NOTE: this kit has minor, 'professional' quality subassembly as follows: (3) sets of wing halves assembled (just the halves; they are not glued to each other). There is no other assembly. Inventoried 100% complete and includes decals and instructions.
