As with most Comet kits, this one is well molded with all recessed panel detail and no unsightly rivets. Molded in gloss silver and clear. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. Nicely made small scale kit from the mid 1950s to the very early 1960s. Never started. The small parts are still in the internal factory sealed bag, and the larger parts that were never sealed have been inventoried complete including decals and instructions. Lincoln was based in Hong Kong. Plastic kits were not the primary business, but they established quite a line of them before discontinuing production in the late 1960s/early 1970s. Many molds moved to Kader, also in Hong Kong, who reissued the line. Many molds eventually found their way to the USA either through ATP (who purchased the excess kit stock when Kader sold out) or IM.

Still factory sealed and in investment-grade 'Mint' condition. Big 'A' logo hardbox issue is dated 1969 and this is likely the second issue of this kit. In the late 1960s Aurora realized that the older molds were out of date and modelers were demanding more realism. They made a new set of molds for ships, airplanes and helicopters. These were significant improvements as the new molds were on par with current offerings. This Cobra kit is one of the improved models. Features full cockpit, pilot and copilot figures, rotating main and rear rotors and optional weapons load of miniguns or rocket pods.

This is a model of the very early YF-102 prototype with the straight (non-area rule) fuselage. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete including decals and instructions. In the late 1950s Aurora began issuing a series of inexpensive (usually starting at 29 cent) small scale kits that were designed to sell at almost any type of retail location. The line was successful and further expanded into the early 1960s. When Aurora purchased the Comet molds, they fit nicely into this established line.
