Nicely detailed 1/144 scale kit of the famous Tri-Jet is dated 1973. Nicely molded and detailed for that time featuring clear cockpit and side windows, optional position landing gear and detailed engine pods. Colorful Eastern Airlines decals are in amazing 'near mint' condition, but before using any older decals please see the two articles about using and saving old decals on this website. This kit has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions.

Revell USA hardbox issue dated 1962. This issue has fantastic box art by the legendary Jack Leynnwood. Although this is clearly a USA issue, this model has 'authentic right hand drive' and both long box sides have British road signs. Features front bucket seats, detailed engine, detailed engine, clear windows, many chrome parts and more. Molded in gloss medium blue and chrome plate with clear window material and cutting guide in the instructions. Never started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes instructions.

Mid to late 1960s one-piece box issue with Tom Morgan box artwork. The model is well molded for that time and features recessed and raised panel lines, optional wheels for land based operation or floats, crew of two and some cockpit detail. Never started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. Lindberg is a company with a fascinating history The original 'Lindberg Line' stretches back to the 1930s when Paul Lindberg drew plans for famous modeling magazines and marketed his balsa wood 'stick and tissue' by urging dealers to carry the '...Complete Lindberg Line'. The Albatross was the primary sea rescue aircraft of the Aerospace Rescue and Recovery Service, a branch of MAC - Military Airlift Command. Operational service began in 1947 and Hu-16s saw wartime action in Vietnam. The kit is still factory sealed. 1999 Reissue of the excellent 1960s 'Four Star' kit. It has the same box art and is also molded in the same colors as the original issue (silver and clear). Features retractable landing gear, rotating wheels and propellers, three man crew, optional position rear boarding door, life raft with two survivors and more.

An excellent kit for that time, it builds any of four versions including 2-Seat Night Fighter, day fighter, 'Droop Snoot' with bomber nose and F5 photo recon version. Molded in silver, black and clear. The kit has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete including decals and instructions. Please NOTE that the decals have age micro-cracking. Monogram A-37 Dragonfly - USAF or South Vietnam AF, 1/48, 5486

Still factory sealed. Dated 1992 and nicely detailed for that time. A-37s served as close support aircraft in Vietnam. The Dragonfly carried a nose mounted minigun that fired 6000 rounds per minute and had a large variety of underwing stores.

Pyro Civil War Blockade Runner / Steam Paddle Cutter Harriett Lane - (Cutter Lavinia), 1/124, C375-298

Early 1960s hardbox of this very historical ship. Full-hull model is well detailed for that time and features a factory copper painted hull below the waterline (in 'near mint' condition), detailed deck fittings and deck houses, display stand, sail, blocks and other rigging material, extensive step-by-step rigging instructions and more. The hull alone measures 16.25 inches long. Never started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes instructions. The Harriett Lane was built in 1858 and named for President Buchanan's niece. The cutter was 180 feet long with a 30 foot beam and displacement was 670 tons. Armament consisted of 3-9 inch Dahlgrens and 1-30 lb Parrot Rifle. She was built at a time when steam was not fool-proof, so she is rigged for full sails. Harriett Lane served as the Presidential Yacht, the fired the first shot of the Civil War. She chased down blockade runners until January 1, 1863 when she was attacked by five Confederate Gun Boats and boarded. She was captured and renamed the Lavinia and was used as a blockade runner. Near the end of the war she caught fire at sea, and put into Havana Harbor. Federal forces took her again and rebuilt her in 1869 as the bark 'Elliot Ritchie.' She was abandoned at sea in 1884.

1964 issue with fantastic framable box art by John Steel. This is an early issue that has the factory painted copper hull below the waterline. Condition of the factory paint is 'near mint.' Large and highly detailed model measures 36 inches long and 22 inches high when assembled. Features 20 crew members, full deck details, preformed rat lines, decals, flag sheet and excellent instructions for assembly and rigging. Includes all required rigging thread, blocks and chain. The kit is molded in black, dark brown and ivory/white. Never started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals, building instructions and rigging diagrams. Includes instructions and special booklet 'The Cutty Sark And The Days Of Sail.'
