Revell Moon Ship - 'S' Issue - (XSL01), 1/96, H1825-79

Plastic Model Kit,   Box Condition: VG+

$210

Rare 1957 first and only issue. When sales of the dramatic XSL-01 Moon Rocket did not meet expectations, Revell molded the top stage in a different color plastic from the XSL-01, added a special 3D Moon Base Stand and boxed it as a stand-alone kit. The result was this Moon Ship with incredible box art. The box art invites you to 'Enter the Age of Space' with these action features: retractable landing ski, removable fuselage section with detailed cabin with controls and instrument panels and a crew of three astronauts. Molded in correct baby blue and clear plastic. This model has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions present. Please NOTE that the box displays much better than the 'vg+' grade. It is graded as such because there is some clear tape on the long box sides. Without the tape this would be an 'excellent+' grade box.
