Revell of Germany issue with full English instructions. Because of that, it has the expanded decal sheets for both aircraft. This issue was made in the very late 1960s or early 1970s and is part of the 'Fighting Deuces Series' that includes both kits and new box art. Revell was famous for the 'series' concept; older kits were put into boxes with dramatic new art and given series names such as this one, or 'Famous Artist' & 'Famous Aircraft.' Never started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. NOTE: the decals are intact and falt but have very light and minor flaking.

1967 hardbox issue from the original 'S' kit molds. Features transversing and elevating gun barrel with recoil action, rotating wheels, flexible tires and trails that fold inward for towing and extend for 'firing' configuration, 4 G.I. figures, shells, crates and detailed 'battle-ground' base. Revell AHM reissue from the 1970s. Uses the same molds as the Revell 1966 issue so it makes an ideal builder. This super-secret aircraft that developed into SR-71 and pioneered the AWG-9/Phoenix missile system for the legendary F-14 Tomcat and ultimately the design became the SR-71. The kit features removable nose and radar detail, two position landing gear and ventral fin, two Hughes AIM-47A nuclear missiles, optional position weapons bay doors, crew busts and more. 1966 one-piece box issue of the first aircraft to destroy a German aircraft in WWII.
