SA-16B Albatross Air Rescue Amphibian VG Injection Molded old | ||
| Rare first issue hardbox dated 1957. The first issue is P20 and the second is PA20; the "P" designation lasted less than a year. Features retracting landing gear, rotating wheels/props, three man crew, optional position door and two survivors in life rafts. The Albatross was the primary sea rescue aircraft of the Aerospace Rescue and Recovery Service, a branch of MAC - Military Airlift Command. Operational service began in 1947 and Hu-16s saw wartime action in Vietnam. NOTE: this kit has been started. The side windows have been neatly glued in, the wing halves and one drop tank half have been assembled. Quality of construction is excellent. The windows have no glue smear and the other parts have no gaps and minimal glue. Inventoried with all parts, decals and instructions present. | |||

Pro Modeler F-102A Delta Dagger Early Production with 'Case X' (Squared off and Turned Up) Wing - Extra Decals and Eduard Color Photoetch Detail Kit Good+++ Injection Molded old | ||
| Kit includes decals for 5 aircraft total - the factory markings for 509th FIS Thailand March 1962 and 118th FIS Connecticut Air National Guard 1969, and three more on another sheet- 327th FIS ADC (early markings), 317 FIS Alaskan Air Command and 190th FIS Idaho Air National Guard. Also included is the Eduard FE-263 Detail Set including numerous cockpit parts, film instruments and much more with many parts done in color. This Monogram F-102 kit is the only correct early production 1/48 Dagger Kit. The first Daggers off the line came with the 'Case X' wing which had upturned and squared off tips. Later aircraft, starting with serial # 56-1317, had the Case XX wing. The -Twenty wing has a rounded, turned down tip with larger elevons that are angled with the tip. Never started. | First issue dated 1974 in the 'tall' box. Well engineered kit with excellent detail. Includes very desirable diorama instructions. Builds one or two seater version - day or night fighter with radar. Has removable panels to show twin DB-603 engine detail. Features full cockpits with optional position canopies and two position undercarriage and rotating propellers. The Do-335 was a very high performance German WWII aircraft that was too late to see active service. In addition to it's 480+ mph speed, the 335 was equipped with ejection seats and a linked jettisonable upper vertical tail surface. Never started.
