| Rare. 1960 issue from the large 'Bild'n Fly' series. This series was Monogram's most elaborate, colorful and realistic flying models. It was short-lived however, as by 1960 non-flying plastic kits had become the #1 hobby of boys in the USA. The Bild'n Fly series included simplified assembly - no ribs or stringers. All balsa parts are color laminated and die cut - no tissue covering and all decoration is built in full color. There are 14 highly detailed plastic parts such as cowl, wheels, prop, etc. The windows are clear and are of die-cut acetate. The kit has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete including and instructions. | |||
