Lindberg 1/48 Japanese Zero Motorized, 304M-100 plastic model kit

1/48 304M-100 Lindberg Japanese Zero Motorized

Plastic Model Kit,   Box Condition: Exc++

First motorized issue from the late 1950s with great hardbox artwork by Ray Gaedke. The box is in stunning 'excellent++' condition with factory-new color and gloss, four solid corners, no repairs, no tape or price tags or marks from either and minimal light wear. Includes electric motor and all hardware. Molded in silver and clear. This kit has never been started. The motor is still in the factory sealed bag. All other parts have been inventoried complete and includes decals and instructions. The meticulously researched box art scene may be of particular interest to admirers of Mr. Gaedke's work. The colorful aircraft combines with a brightly painted, grassy background, including a well turned out (Army) ground crewman, to produce an almost storybook, 'beautiful day in the neighborhood' atmosphere. A most attractive and, in an historical context, almost whimsical image. Please read the biography of Ray Gaedke, which is located on this website. Lindberg is a company with a fascinating history The original 'Lindberg Line' stretches back to the 1930s when Paul Lindberg drew plans for famous modeling magazines and marketed his balsa wood 'stick and tissue' by urging dealers to carry the '...Complete Lindberg Line'. After the war, Lindberg and Olsen had a strong hand in early United States injection molded kit development. Please see the article located on this website about early USA plastic kit manufacturers.
