Still factory sealed. One of Airmodel's better jobs with nice recessed panel detail, clean canopy and instructions with assembly diagrams. The Curtiss XF-15 C-1 was a mixed powerplant (piston and jet engine) long-range aircraft carrier based interceptor. Basic vacuform kit. Vaccuform kits are only recommended for modelers who are experienced with this type of kit.

The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions. LS was one of the earliest Japanese manufacturers to produce very high quality kits. Some of these molds are still in use by Hasegawa as testament to the LS detail and accuracy.

Life-Like Joseph Conrad Cadet School Ship - (ex-Pyro), 1/88, 09215

From original Pyro molds. The Joseph Conrad was built in 1882 in Denmark as the Georg Stage. Alan Villiers bought the ship in 1934 and saved it from the breakers. He renamed it Joseph Conrad for the famous maritime author. The ship made a famous round-the-world voyage from which Villiers wrote three books about the travels. The ship is now a museum ship at Mystic Seaport in Connecticut and is still used for static sailing ship training. The kit was originally made in the early 1960s and is nicely done for that time. Measures about 16 inches long when built. Includes detailed hull and deck, billowing sails, rigging material and rigging guide photos. Molded in black and ivory. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions.

From the early to mid 1940s. An excellent model for that time featuring die-cut hardwood parts, machined, precut and drilled hardwood parts, fully formed and finished wheels with tread, a factory sealed wax paper bag with small parts and superb instructions with numerous assembly illustrations. Never started and complete.

Academy Boeing B-17B Flying Fortress, 1/72, 2106

From 1991. Beautiful and well detailed model of the early Fortress. Molded with all fine recessed panel lines. Features excellent cockpit detail, rotating props and wheels, bomb bay detail and full bomb load and optional position doors. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. Dusty Rhodes was doing box art research and discovered that the painting for this kit represents the Good Will flight from Langley to Rio de Janeiro in November of 1938. The future SAC leader, Curtis LeMay, was on this flight as the lead navigator as a lowly First Lieutenant.

Revell Republic F-84F Thunderstreak Whip-Fly, 1/54, H152-98

1960 issue of the rare 'Whip Fly' series. Hardbox artwork for this series was 'action' photos by Tom Kelly. Whip-Fly kits contain the aircraft model with nose ballast, a metal control ring, 12 feet of control line and a control handle so that you could spin the aircraft around in circles. This kit has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals, special whip-fly parts and instructions. Please note that the box only grades 'Fair' due to litho damage and staining as shown in the photo.

There is stain on the bottom box outside (tray), but the kit inside is mint.

Features full hull precarved to correct overhead outline, two sheets of very nicely done print wood, wood stock as needed, several sizes of wooden dowels as needed, correct diameter smoke stack dowels, hollow superstructure style build, very well drawn plans with side, rear and overhead profiles, hull sections, cut out doors and window detail, several other views and drawings to aid construction and detail, awnings, rigging diagram, assembly instructions and more.
