Siedlce often printed PZW on their boxes. These kits and PZWPT and are all from this Polish manufacture. They are no longer in operation. This company succeeded MZMPI (which was the first kit manufacture in the USSR) and continued till a new name was introduced in the mid 1970s. Never started. 1960s Pyro issue from original molds. In the early to mid 1960s the Pyro company chose many of it's kit subjects based more on historical significance than popularity. Luckily for us, Pyro not only made these kits but did an excellent job for the time. The Pyro car models are based on the actual cars that Pyro engineers and designers had access to. In some cases, the specific car and owner is on the box. The model includes colored injection molded parts, clear parts, detailed chassis and complete interior. Ideal for slot car conversion. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts and instructions.

For the advanced Hawk collector. Hawk was one of the few manufactures making wooden kits to a constant scale of 1/48 in the 1930s. Hawk kits were very complete and included metal details and superb quality drawings for the true scale enthusiast. This kit dates from 1930s. The model contains profile precarved wooden main fuselage, wings, rudder and elevator, wooden stock as needed, pre-carved wheels, cast metal prop and full size well-detailed plans. The model has not been started and is complete.

SMER Ansaldo SVA5 (SVA-5), 1/50, 106

Factory sealed. The SVA-5 was a highly successful Italian WWI design that saw service up to 1929. The aircraft was very fast for it's time and the Italians wisely used it for stratigic recon and bombing. the SVA-5 flew legendary missions over 500 miles in length, returning with valuable photos. After the war, the aircraft was flown by Argentina, Brazil, France, Lithuania, Latvia, Holland, Peru, Poland, the Soviet Union, Spain and the United States. One even flew from Rome to Tokyo.

Scale Flight Model Company in Bloomington, Indiana, USA was dedicated to releasing authentic reproductions of the finest "Dime Scale" flying model (stick and tissue) kits from the 1930s/40s. Dime Scale models used to sell for a dime in the 1930's, hence the name. They are actually box scale, but as a general guideline, they usually had a wingspan of 16 inches and have simple and light construction. "Dime Scale" models are now a class flown in some competitions. Kit consists of contest grade printwood, contest quality strip wood, machine cut balsa propeller, the best Japanese tissue, wooden wheels, competition bushed nose plug, brass thrust washers, prop shaft, prop freewheeler, FAI rubber strip motor and a copy of a genuine dime scale plan that was used in the 1930s-1940s. The model has not been started. The parts are either in factory sealed bag(s) or inventoried 100% complete with all parts and instructions.

Second hardbox issue from Pyro, likely from the early to mid 1960s. Nice full hull kit for that time. Designed from the original blueprints furnished by the American President Lines. The kit has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete including decals and instructions. The kit can represent the Ocean Liners SS President Wilson or SS President Cleveland. These fine ships sailed to exotic Pacific ports and did at least one Round-The-World Cruise each year. At the time the kit was made, they were the only two ocean liners flying the American flag.
