Very rare kit from the early 1950s. The Hawk one-piece box is complete and in 'Very Good+' condition, which is unusual for these boxes as they are easily damaged or destroyed. The kit inside is from completely different molds than all other Hawk P-51 kits. Features one piece wing and horizontal stabilizers, fuselage halves, clear canopy, propeller and two piece green-tinted clear display stand that is engraved 'F-51H Mustang.' There are extensive decals (for this era) including insignia, nose checkerboards as shown on the instructions and more. Molded in a very high gloss medium gray plastic, green-tinted clear canopy, stand and stand arm and dark brown pilot figure. The kit has never been started. The small parts are still factory sealed in the original 'krinkle' bag; all other parts have been inventoried complete. Includes decals and instructions.

Frog Lockheed Ventura PV-1 Bomber/Reconnaissance, 1/72, F240

Very rare. Near the end (in the 1970s), Frog had projected several future kits. In the case of the Ventura, the molds were cut but the kit was never released. Around 40,000 boxes were made anticipating production. Most of the boxes were destroyed. A unknown number of decals sheets were produced. There are no instruction sheets reported. The mold was put in the machine and 100 test shots were run - the only Ventura run at Frog. The 100 test shots were not sold but some found their way into collectors hands. This example is in a 'good+' box with four solid corners, no tears, writing or stickers, excellent color, a crease at the right & another smaller crease at the upper left and light general wear. It contains the decals and parts. I have inventoried the kit and NOTE: it is missing the tail wheel and (1) seat. It is molded in the correct Frog test-shot gloss dark blue and clear. The decals are in amazing 'near mint' condition and include the protective wax cover sheet. The kit has never been started. Please note there are no instructions as none were ever made. Shipping insurance is required for this kit.

This is the military version of the famous Fairchild 24 and can make one of several versions, USAAF, two RAF or US Coast Guard. Very well detailed featuring fine recessed surface detail, realistic raised fabric/rib detail, choice of in-line or radial resin engines, other resin details, full interior, parts for either version including two types of landing gear and more. Includes decals and paint guide for USAAF aircraft at Middletown, USCG Coat Guard based at Charleston, South Carolina, a British Argus Mk.I that served as a light transport with the Middle East forces and also and Argus Mk.III with 221st Group Communications Sqn at the HQ of the 14th Army in Central Burma. This aircraft was popular in the 1930s as Hollywood actors and businessmen were among the many owners.

Unusual kit of the early Scharnhorst with the 'straight' bow. This was before her modification with the 'Atlantic' bow. SALE!! Includes both models, the buggy and horse. From 1967. These kits are two in a series of 1/12 true-scale horse-drawn vehicles. The horse and harness kit is still factory sealed. These are large models - the Courting Buggy has 3.4" and 3.125" diameter wheels and the wagon body measures about 5" inches long without the front wooden cross bar. Contains thick, die cut balsa wood parts, four injection molded spoke wheels, preformed wooden parts and metal parts, cloth material for the roof and other parts has needed. Includes full text instructions that are heavily illustrated. Never started. The hardware and small parts are still in the factory sealed bag. The larger parts were never factory sealed and have been inventoried complete. With all paperwork. Country Lane made a fairly extensive line of wagon and Dutch Buggy models during the 1960s. Country Lane Dutch Supply of Rear 806 Main Street, Akron PA 17501 did the manufacturing and the distribution; the phone number was given as 717-859-1628. Design of the kits was by Salsam in Lancaster, PA. All kits are 1/12 scale and there was even a scale plastic horse & harness (sold separately) to go with them. In 1967 the line of models was #1003 Mennonite Courting Buggy, #2009 Frontier Buggy, #2000 Surrey With Fringe, #2001 Delivery Wagon, #2004 Butcher Wagon, #2002 Run-About, #2003 Doctor's Buggy, #2005 Spring Wagon, #2008 Horse and Harness (that fits all buggies) and #2007 Olde Tyme Couple (man and woman). I have reason to believe that this was a short list and there were more. Later issues also included an Amish Family Carriage and a Mennonite Family Carriage.

Very rare 1950s issue. Features clear turrets and canopy, rotating propellers & wheel, paint guide and decals for Lancaster WPF or VNN. Includes the correct large format display stand and glue capsule. Never started and inventoried complete with all parts, decals and instructions. Decals and instructions are in amazing 'excellent++' condition. NOTE: as is typical with these kits, the glue capsule burst and melted one short section of of one lower landing strut. While all four propeller are present, one propeller blade was melted completely away. I have included another early black plastic propeller that has only slightly larger blades; it could be used to fabricate a replacement blade if you wish. The box is 100% complete and solid with four original corners, no tears, missing litho, price tags or tape (other than age marks from the original factory sealing tape). However, it has been darkened as shown.
