Original motorized dealership promo. The motor does still work and the chassis is marked with the early Jo-Han logo and the General Motors blurb. The tires look as if the model was never played with. The beautiful blue factory paint still has very nice gloss and shine. The body is celluloid plastic and is surprisingly straight; but it does have some slight warping. I would say it is better than 90% of the surviving models. The clear is 'very good++' and the two tone interior is like new. Bumper chrome is 'excellent' on the back and 'very good' on the front with some slight spotting. The previous owner had the white cove and fine trim professionally painted; it could pass for factory paint. The chassis has been painted black to 'very good++' quality. The box is not original.

Original dealer promotional model from 1956 for the '57 year. Like all originals, it has a black painted, metal chassis that is stamped "AMT INC Birmingham Mich." This is a celluloid plastic body and there is some warping although it still displays well. It could use a good cleaning and there is age foxing which I did not try to remove. The front chrome is 'excellent' and the rear is 'very good.' The silver trim and red cove have been painted to 'excellent+' quality by the previous owner. This was a friction motor car but the previous owner neatly removed the friction motor (but kept the original chassis, axles and even the drive gear). The box is not original.

NOTE: builder only, please read carefully. 1966 hardbox first issue. Builds either Air Force F-111A or short nose and wingspan Navy F-111B. Features operating variable position wings, movable stabilizers, removable nose with detailed radar, fully retractable landing gear and removable crew escape pod. NOTE: this kit has minor, neat painting and assembly. The two intakes and the main landing gear assembly has been built and installed. Quality of assembly is 'excellent' and everything works as it should, even the complicated retract system. There is no other assembly. The landing gear, wheels and underside of the fuselage are painted to 'very good' quality. There is no other painting. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, instructions and 'excellent+' condition decals.

Very nice kit. MPC combined multiple Airfix kits and Airfix HO figures with a vacuform battle terrain base and special instructions (with a huge fold-out map and battle history) to create the 'Historama' series in the 1970s. This one includes German half-track truck, 88mm gun and trailer, Rommel and 52 fighting figures as well as a desert display base. The kit has never been started.
