Very rare and in exceptional condition. This kit needs little introduction - the Tamiya 1/16 Flakpanzer is legendary in detail, easy of construction and durability. It consists of a large number of highest-quality cast metal parts and injection molded parts. Includes all gear boxes, motors and running hardware for forward, reverse, turret and turning (Tamiya did not include the R/C gear). The kit has never been started. Inside it is like it left the factory and includes all display cardboard. All of the parts that were factory sealed are still factory sealed; the few that Tamiya never sealed have been inventoried complete. With decals and instructions.

Very rare, early issue. Please note Tamiya-Mokei early logo. The box is the desirable high-gloss issue and displays better than the 'very good' grade. But I gave it that grade because there is light general wear, and one short side has a 3/4" closed tear, as well as general side panel wear as well. Inside, the kit is as it left the factory. It has never been started. All the parts that were factory sealed are still sealed and the correct color headers on the bags are excellent. The small parts are bagged with a header; the all-metal gear box is bright as new and sealed as well. The TKK Mabuchi motor is present and still in a mint, early Mabuchi factory box. The modified motor mount is included in the factory sealed bag with the correction to the instructions. Only the (2) hull parts and treads were never sealed, and even the treads are 100% whole, 'near mint' and fully flexible. The instructions are 'near mint' and decals are still sealed in a bag and 'excellent.'

NOTE: builder only, please read carefully. Very rare early glossy box top issue. Please note the early Tamiya Mokei logo. This tank features motorized drive on the tracks through a gear box. The motor is not included. NOTE: this kit has minor, neat assembly. Two sets of bogie wheels (four parts total) and one track roller (2 parts) are assembled. Quality of assembly is 'professional.' There is minor neat painting to some smaller detail parts and details on the hull. NOTE: missing #54 (part behind the gun mounting plate) and #48, a clear lens (flat, easily made). Otherwise inventoried with all other parts present and with decals and instructions. Amazingly, the treads are in 'near mint' condition. They are unbroken and completely flexible! The instructions are 'near mint' also, and the decals are 'very good' because of typical yellowing.
