1/500 U-5014 Nichimo IJN Nachi Heavy Cruiser Motorized

1970s model that is part of Nichimo's famous 1/500 scale battleship and heavy cruiser series. This model can be assembled for motorized operation in water or as a static full hull or waterline display model. Features all motorizing hardware with brass battery contacts, switch cv joint, brass shaft & more, one piece lower hull (molded in an excellent 'IJN Hull Red'), one piece upper hull (molded in gray) that fits the lower hull flawlessly, detailed deck and superstructure, rotating main turrets and separately molded secondary battery and AA guns, catapults, two floatplanes, display stand and more. The kit has never been started. The plastic parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags; the hardware has been inventoried complete. Please note that Nichimo did not include the motor in this issue; it has to be purchased separately. Includes decals and instructions. The box would grade better has has a lot of pen scribbling on the left side as shown.
