Hard to find 1/48 scale armor kit. John Steel hard-box art is dated 1964. The box has very good color and gloss, no tape or price tag marks and four solid corners. Light, general and even wear are the only flaws. The kit has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete including decals and instructions. NOTE: the treads are intact and 'near mint' but there are tread burns on the inside of one side panel (not visible when built), inside of the lower hull panel (again, not seen when built) and on the gun barrel. The barrel is all there but significantly damaged by the burns. The decal backing paper has bug damage but the actual transfers are intact.

Includes decals for US Army and West German Army. Never started. The actual tank has been inventoried with all parts present and includes decals and instructions but NOTE: missing display base.

1969 Big A hardbox issue. Hard to find 1/48 armor kit that has very good detail for that time. Features over 100 pieces, working bogies and tracks, rotating turret, elevating gun, driver, commander & soldier figures and more. Includes decals for US Army and West German Army. Never started. The actual tank has been inventoried with all parts present and includes decals and instructions but NOTE: missing display base. Also, the box displays slighter better than the 'good' ranking; it is graded as such because there is clear tape on two box sides and one paint run.

Still factory sealed and in investment-grade 'Mint' condition. It has no more wear than what it left the factory with and the seal is 100% intact with no tears or splits. Second issue from 1963 of this rare kit with John Steel artwork. The box top has the rare 'simplified' logo with 'Famous Fighters' still in the boarder; that only lasted one year and Aurora went to an empty border. Well detailed model for that time with 96 parts featuring moving wheels, breech, recoil mechanism, limber and gun trails.

The original owner opened the kit but carefully left the factory seal on the box top, which is why the box is in remarkable 'near mint' condition. The hardbox is dated 1964 with the original issue 98 cent price extension and has John Steel artwork. The top has the 'simple' logo and the four sides have 'Famous Fighters' ovals. Kit features flexible treads, tank commander and three ground troops, two rifles, rotating turret, elevating gun optional position top hatch and working tracks & wheels. It has never been started. Inventoried and NOTE: missing one very small part, a round rear tail light. Otherwise includes all other parts, decals and instructions.

Hard to find armor kit with John Steel hardbox artwork is dated 1963. Aurora made excellent armor kits for that time and this is no exception. In the early 1960s modeling reviewers declared them as the finest armor kits in any scale. Molded in gloss olive drab with flexible black treads. The kit has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete including decals and instructions. Please note that the box displays slightly better than the 'very good' grade but is rated as such because there is heavy corner wear on the side at the lower left corner. The corner is solid and intact, but the litho has worn through in several spots.

Dated 1958. Very rare dual kit that contains both models. Very well detailed for that time with 276 parts. Each has many operating features including movable tracks, gun, bulldozer blade, ammunition loader and more. Includes crew members. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions present. Please note that the box looks slightly better than the 'good+' grade but is graded as such because there 1.25" x .7" section of litho missing on the left short side where a price tag was torn off. there is also other general wear and edge wear as shown.

Molded in gloss olive drab with black flexible tracks. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. The box is only graded 'good+' because there is some light age foxing and a shallow dent at the far right lower side as shown and also on the right short side panel.

Otherwise complete with all other parts and includes decals and instructions. NOTE: instructions are photocopies of originals. The decal sheet is 80% intact with several small decals missing.

In those days, it was said by reviewers that Aurora made the best tank kits - this one is no exception. Features all moving bogies and drive wheels, flexible black treads, elevating main gun, rotating turret, one tankman, three soldiers and decals. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. Decals and instructions are both in 'near mint' condition as well.

Rare first issue from 1956 with Northern Lights logo. The box is in beautiful "Excellent+++" condition with factory-new color and gloss and four solid corners. There is no fading, no stains, no tears or missing litho, no creases and not price tags or tag marks. It would have graded 'Near Mint' but there is a very small (11mmx 5mm) factory tape pull on the upper long side. Molded in the correct gloss deep green with flexible black treads. Never started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions.
