KeilKraft 1920 Birmingham Tram - Trolley, 1/72, K308

Nicely molded rail trolley from the 1970s or 80s. Never started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. KeilKraft was produced by the E. Keil & Company, Limited of Wickford, Essex Great Britain. Keil specialized in stick and tissue scale flying models and gliders. However, they moved into injection molded kits after WWII. Four aircraft kits were planned but only two were released. This Hurricane was the first one, followed by F2, a Sopwith Camel. The Stuka and Chipmunk were never issued. The vehicle line was more extensive, with at least part of the line consisting of Type T Coach, Road Roller, Traction Engine, Steam Wagon, Ploughing Engine and West Ham Tram.

Ideal Aeroplane & Supply US Sub Chaser (Subchaser / Submarine Chaser) 1916 WWI - 20 Inch Wooden Ship Model

1930s issue kit from the famous Ideal Aeroplane & Supply Company which was founded in 1911. Nicely done kit features a fully precarved solid hardwood hull (not balsa), three sheets of nicely done printed parts, numerous wood stock and metal stock as needed, a factory-sealed paper bag of metal and wood fittings (still sealed but just barely), sandpaper and very well drawn full size plans that include instructions and numerous detail & section views. The kit has not been started. The fittings are still factory sealed and all other parts have been inventoried present. The US Navy WWI Submarine chaser was a 110 foot wooden vessel. The ships carried a crew of 25 and were armed with a 3 lb deck gun and a "Y" gun for discharging depth charges. The ships proved valuable in combating the German U-boats in the Atlantic and Mediterranean. Some were updated and saw service in WWII.

Aurora Fokker DR-1 Triplane, 1/48, 105-69

First issue from 1956 with square Northern Lights logo. This logo was only used for that year and was quickly replaced in 1957 with the well-known 'sunburst' oval with 'Famous Fighters' written in the border. The box has as excellent color and gloss. Molded in the correct metallic deep burgundy and black. The kit has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. Please NOTE: the box displays 'excellent' or better, but it is graded 'very good+' because there is impact damage on the left short side. James Cox, who did much of the early artwork for Aurora, created a timeless classic for this issue - this artwork was used well into the 1960s and possibly up till the final 'Big A' logo boxes before Aurora's demise. Mr. Cox also did unique artwork for the early Aurora Catalogs as well. Please see the article about Mr. Cox located on this website.

Well detailed, large-scale engine kit that includes the scale service cart. 1983 Heritage Edition reissue of the classic 1959 'Four Star' kit of the famous Wright Cyclone 9(C9HE)that powered The SBD Dauntless, B-17, DC-3, A-12, SA-16 Albatross, Stratoliner, B-18, B-10 and so many others. Large scale kit is molded in black, red, gray and copper so no painting is needed. Has cut-away operational cylinder if you wish to add it. The kit has never been started. The parts that were factory sealed (the black ones) are still in the sealed bags. The parts that were not factory sealed have been inventoried complete including decals and instructions.

Still factory sealed. Early 1960s issue with Ray Gaedke artwork. The original molds were cut by Trim Model Products in the early to mid 1950s. Trim sold them in bags or in hardboxes, then sold the molds to Lindberg in the early 1960s. Features full landing gear, underwing rockets, tip tanks, clear canopy and decals. There is a collector's card on the back of the box and it is is in 'very good' condition. Please NOTE that while the box is factory sealed, there is a 2" long closed tear/split on the back of the box at the left lower corner.
