Dated 1958 with classic Bill Campbell box art hardbox. hard to find issue that is well molded. Features 55 parts, removable rear section and detailed jet engine, engine ground cradle, pilot and ground figures, good cockpit detail and opening canopy. Never started. Very early LS kit, most likely from the early 1960s. Even at this early date, you can see why LS quality became legendary. Features well molded parts with all fine recessed panel lines, retractable landing gear, opening bomb bay and dropping bomb and crew of two. The model has not been started. The parts are still in the factory sealed bags. Includes decals and instructions. LS was one of the earliest Japanese manufacturers to produce high quality kits. Some of the LS molds are still in use by Hasegawa as testament to the their detail and accuracy.

Rare. Very highly quality limited issue kit. Features cast resin waterline hull, superstructure and some detail and an Eduard PE fret with railings and numerous other details. The kit has never been started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes instructions. The 'A' class of German torpedo boats began construction in 1915. Many were built, but A83 through 85 could not be completed at the end of WWI so they were scrapped at Kiel. Many of the A class ended up Polish and Belgian Navies after the war. The balance of the finished ships were scrapped in Britain.

Please read the article on this website about older HO train kits and the modeling revolution they caused in the late 1930s/1940s. During the golden era of realistic train models, La Belle Woodworking Company created perhaps the very finest scale kits of early American equipment. The kit features die cut hardwood parts (no balsa) such as pre-cut and scribed sides all cut to the correct size, car ends done in the same fashion, excellent underside and cast metal details, building instructions and plans and decals/transfers. I have seen these models built and they look identical to the real prototypes. The kit has not been started and is complete with two packets of small parts still factory sealed, and all other parts inventoried complete with transfers and instructions.

From 1975 and part of Lindberg's excellent line of smaller ships. Nicely detailed model is about 7.5 inches long when assembled. Features one-piece full hull, detailed deck and superstructure, all oars, flag masts, fore and main masts, vacuform sails, display stand and even a rigging guide/photo on the instructions. Sails are in mint condition. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes instructions. The small scale Lindberg ships were molded much finer than the Pyro series - it is too bad that Lindberg did not make more of them.

From quality ex-Frog molds. Nicely molded with fine panel line detail and no rivets. Features separately molded ailerons, elevators, rudder, crew of two and torpedo loadout. The kit has never been started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions. UPC stood for Universal Powermaster Corporation which was based out of New York City, NY. UPC did not cut their own molds, but bought kits already molded from other manufacturers and re-boxed the kits in the USA. Scott Eidson, the famous artist best known for his artwork with Revell, also did UPC box art in the 1960s. All UPC production ended in the 1970s.

1960 Picture Fleet issue with framable John Steel artwork. Very well detailed large scale kit. Features detailed helicopter, life boats, Captain's launch, movable gun turret, swiveling cranes, antennas and masts, full decals and color flag sheet. Never started. NOTE: missing one (of four) helicopter pad supports. This is a simple round dowel, easily made from pulled sprue or plastic stock. Otherwise complete with all other parts, decals and instructions.

Molded in white and clear plastic with the large, clear 'triangle world' based stand. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes the correct early decals and instructions.

Joe Ott Supermarine Spitfire with Ott-O-Formers - 32 inch Wingspan Wood Flying Model

Rare kit from the late 1930s. This model is one of Joe Ott's mid-range line in size and price. Large model features 2 sheets of Ott-O-Formers, printwood, stripwood, full size plans, color insignia, clear canopy material, fully carved thrust button, main wheels and tail wheel, required metal hardware, covering tissue (2 sheets) and 2 blocks for the spinner. NOTE: the prop blank has been rough cut to shape and the 'lightning holes' in the fuselage Ott-O-Formers have been pressed out (normally they are factory die cut). Quality of all work is excellent. The kit has been inventory complete with all parts and plans. NOTE: plans are complete but have neat tape to the back. They are very fragile! Please note that the box displays better than the 'Fair+' grade but is missing the end flaps - hence the 'Fair+' grade.
