Still factory sealed. Not the 1956 'S' first issue but a 1994 reissue using the original box art. Made from the original molds for the 'S' kit from 1956. Very well detailed detailed and well molded. Features deck guns, all masts and booms, barges and landing craft. The USS Randall was on of 57 Haskell Class Attack Transports built for service in and immediately after WWII. The ships were designed to carry troops close to the beachheads, transfer them to landing barges (carried on board) and to supervise the landing operations. Her length was 455 feet and she could handle 1,560 troops and carry 3000 tons of equipment. Through her colorful career she earned many awards. She had to tours in the Pacific including Iwo Jima and Okinawa. After the war she took part in 'Magic Carpet'. Her Hollywood career was in the movie 'Away All Boats' in which she played the Belinda'.

Full hull model features excellent detail, elevating and rotating main guns, rotating casemate guns and cranes and much more. Never started. Please NOTE that the box displays better than the 'fair' grade but is is rated as such because two side panels have significant damage.

Still factory sealed but the box top has been drawn slightly concave by the seal as shown and there is light fading. Dated 1967. 'Lady Luck' was one of the first B-17s to depart on the unescorted daylight raids into Hitler's Germany. Has many operating features including movable gun turrets, movable control surfaces, opening bomb bay, rotating props and wheels and retracting landing gear.

1955 issue with great box art. This was Monogram's 8th plastic aircraft kit and sported the fine fit and finish that they became famous for. This model has the correct black rubber tires is the second issue; the only difference from the first issue is the "PA" vs. "P" part number. Features rotating props, optional retracted or 'landing' position floats, two torpedoes and crew members. Molded in the correct bright gloss blue (I have seen it in silver too) and clear with the early black rubber tires. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions.

Well detailed for that time and features two hostesses, two boarding stair ramps, tip tanks, battery truck and extensive TWA decals. Molded in the correct gloss white and silver. Never started. Very finely molded and detailed for that time and contains parts to build any one of four versions: NF II Night Fighter, Mk IB Bomber, Mk VI Fighter Bomber and MkII Night Intruder. Never started. Still factory sealed but the seal has split and the box has had another heavier kit stacked on top of it. There is moisture damage also. First issue dated 1966. This kit is part of the very famous line of 1/48 scale World War II action kits. Finely molded and detailed for that time with traditional Monogram quality. Features optional parts so you can built a the ship-based (float) or wheeled land version, good cockpit detail, underwing bombs, elevating and rotating gun, pilot and gunner figures, five piece canopy that can be positioned closed or in several open configurations and choice of US Navy or Royal Navy decals. The Royal Navy aircraft were called Kingfisher I and 100 of them were delivered with both wheel and float gear. The US Navy aircraft is that of Lieutenant William F. Eadie from a Kingfisher squadron based in the Ellice Islands. He spotted and rescued Capt. Eddie Rickenbacker and his companions after they had been on a raft in the Pacific for 21 days and virtually given up for lost. Lt. Eadie moved the most injured into the radio compartment while Rickenbacker and the other crew member were lashed to the wings. Eadie figured that the aircraft could not fly, and luckily he met a PT boat and transfered the uninjured men to it.

One has a gondola with a small 15mm cannon; the other has a different gondola with a large 20mm long barrel cannon. With a crew of four. Has markings for the two aircraft listed. NOTE: this kit has minor, 'professional' quality subassembly as follows: seats to the floor; wing halves; engine front to cowl; float halves. There is no other assembly.
