1970s MPC USA issue of this popular Airfix kit. Features full crew, cockpit, elevating gun and rotating turret, moving ailerons, elevator and rudder, opening and closing side blister windows, optional position landing gear, retracting floats and external depth charge load. Never started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. Decals are amazing 'near mint', but please read the articles on this website about 'Using or Restoring Old Decals' before using any older kit decals. Please NOTE that this kit has the correct decals - the box art is wrong. The decals were always RAF/FAA and includes the custom decals also for "Sharky." Please NOTE that the box displays slightly better than the grade. It is rated as such because there is tape residue / masking tape along the lower border of the four sides and corners.

The most amazing part about this example is that it is 100% complete, right down to the never-used, colorful tube of AMT Plastic Filler Body Putty and sandpaper. The kit features all parts needed to build one of three versions - detailed stock 283 engine, complete 409 CID 'W' head blower or carburetter engine, engine stand, full stock interior, custom interior with bucket seats, roll bar, custom wheel and gear shift, telephone with bracket and stuff alligator, optional stock hubcaps, mag wheels or custom bladed cap, standard tires or racing slicks, chassis with separately molded rear differential, shock absorbers, traction masters, front A arms and front lower suspension unit, detailed engine compartment with opening hood and stock or custom '57 Buick grill. Furthermore, the "Minor Stylizing" section of the instructions shows more included features such as whip antenna, spotlights, fender mirrors, three piece car show trophy, custom front pan, clear tube grill with Corvette type vertical grill, scoop aerials and roof scoops, horizontal tail fins, rear roll pan, nerf bars and bubble fender skirts.
