First issue hardbox dated 1964. This model is part of a very popular and successful line of 1/48 World War II aircraft that Monogram released through the 1960s. Very nicely molded and detailed model in the best Monogram tradition with very fine raised panel detail, full cockpit, optional position landing gear, optional full or open canopy, pilot, belly tank and working landing flaps. Contains decals for USAF, RAF and AVG Flying Tigers (Chinese). Never started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. NOTE: the box appears better than 'good' but is graded as such due to the wear at the lower right, the missing litho at the corner on the lower left and heavy litho wear on the corner below it.

Demco stood for deBolt Model Engineering Company. H. deBolt designed most of the kits and was a National AMA Record Holder at least twice. This kit is from 1958 and is for Radio Controlled operation. This fully acrobatic stunt model features a symmetrical airfoil that was developed over 4 years, stable design for the most precise maneuvers, tail wheel steering and a braking system for full ground control, giant full size plans with complete details, full instructions, selected premium grade balsa with sharply die-cut parts, maple mounts, fully formed Dural metal landing gear and much more. This model came from the estate of an active and particular collector. It is like factory-new inside and has not been started. Complete with all parts and plans present.

Very rare. I believe the base vehicle is a '65 Imperial and this was an Alexander Brothers custom job - but that is just conjecture. An excellent kit with full engine and compartment, opening hood, 'horseshoe' door handles and brake pedal, custom interior, optional top, branding iron or steer horns hood ornament and a large sheet of woodgrain and text decals (in 'new' condition).
