Aurora The Man From UNCLE Napoleon Solo, 1/8, 411-98

Plastic Model Kit,   Box Condition: Sealed Exc

Sold

Still factory sealed and very rare in this condition. 1966 hardbox issue from the famous TV show. When built, this model can be a single display or it is designed to interlock with the Illya Kuryakin model to form a larger action scene. The box appears slightly better than the listed but is only given the 'sealed excellent' grade because there is light wear, two very short (1/4") creases on the lower front and the lower box (tray) is very slightly drawn concave on the bottom. Please note this kit must be shipped insured.

It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes instructions in 'excellent++' condition. Revell A3J Vigilante - 'S' Issue - A-5A Nuclear Bomber, 1/83, H196-98

Plastic Model Kit,   Box Condition: NM

Sold

Rare model from 1959 and the last "S" kit issued by Revell. The box top is in investment-grade 'near mint' condition. It has fantastic color and gloss, four solid corners, no fading or stains and no price tags or tag marks. Flaws include isolated very light wear and on the lower long side panel there is a small (1/2 x 1.4 inch) litho tear from the original factory sealing tape. This model features opening tandem canopies, moving control surfaces, detailed, removable jet engines and two pilots. As the last "S" kit, this kit also incorporated a critical improvement for the time that would become standard only recently: all recessed detail. The entire kit has recessed panel lines and rivet detail- no raised marks. It has an attention to detail that is lacking in many older Pre-S and S kits. Molded in the correct gloss light gray and clear with the "Globe" clear stand. Never started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions.

Revell F-94C Starfire Intereceptor - Pre S Issue, 1/56, H210-79

Plastic Model Kit,   Box Condition: Exc

Sold

1954 Pre-S release and the third issue of this historical model. Features the amazing, classic 1950s box art that has made the Pre S and S kits so valuable and collectible today. Never started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. The first issue was in the simple one-piece box and Revell quickly converted to this two-piece box as it was much more durable and a full-color lithographed 'slick' could be used. For the second issue, Revell added rivet and raised panel line detail as well as landing gear, and went to this box and H210-79 kit number. The famous 'Globe' clear stand was added, but the 2nd issue has the rare one piece stand arm and the instructions reflecting that. The 3rd issue (this kit) is identical to the 2nd issue except that the 'Globe' stand was changed to the sturdy 3 piece arm version.
