Each one contained a quality Airfix model with MPC USA made instructions and a large decal sheet for the three aircraft shown on the box art. This was a well detailed model for that time featuring elevating guns and rotating turrets, movable control surfaces, retractable landing gear, crew members, rotating propellers and wheels, optional position crew entry door & ladder and more. Never started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts present and includes decals and instructions. Decals are in amazing 'Near Mint' condition which is rare. However, please read the articles on this website about 'Using or Restoring Old Decals' before using any older kit decals.

Most likely from the late 1930s. StromBecker was famous for their line of precarved hardwood kits and they are considered the finest ever made. The carving is done to the final shape which makes them remarkably pre-fabricated. This one features a completely carved to shape fuselage, wings and horizontal & vertical stabilizers as well as color insignia, metal propellers, an envelope of powdered glue and high-quality instructions. When built it makes an impressive desk top display. Never started It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes instructions. Early 1/550 scale issue with great box art. Designed for motorized operation and includes all the required hardware - metal gearbox with brass and steel gears for twin propeller drive, brass contacts, battery holders, metal shafts, universal drive, wires, twin stuffing box and even lubricant and even a neat on/off switch you activate by turning a main battery turret (As was customary at the time, Bandai did not furnish the motor with this kit). Features a working rudder that is adjustable without removing the hull, one-piece hull and very good detail. The kit has never been started. Please NOTE that the box displays 'very good' but is only rated 'good' because there is black paint on the lower long box side.

Still factory sealed. Great builder kit dated 1991 and made from the original Aurora molds. In 1977 Monogram purchased the Aurora molds and only reissued the best and most commercially viable models. This monster and others were issued in the early 1990s, probably after re-negotiating the license agreement with Universal (as hinted to on the box side). Molded in a stunning glow-in-the-dark plastic and also glows with a black light.
