Monogram 1934 Duesenberg SJ Town Car with Murphy Body, 1/24, PC185-300

Very high quality kit of the classic Aristocrat of all American Built Cars. The SJ was powered by a supercharged 320 straight 8. The power plant muscled the 153.5 inch long chassis from 1-100 mph in 17 seconds and could top 104 mph in second gear. The kit is molded in black, clear, chrome, rubber and white. It features a highly detailed rolling chassis and engine, removable hood and full interior detail. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts and instructions.

Late 1960s issue from original Pyro molds. Very large and well detailed kit of the famous rival of the Robert E Lee. The race between the two is considered a classic tale of The River. Although the Lee won, the circumstances were suspect and many people still considered the Natchez the fastest paddle-wheel packet ever. (For example, the Lee carried no payload and the Natchez was carrying passengers and a normal payload.) Molded in high-gloss tan, burgundy, green and gray plastic. All details of the real ship, including the wooden railings and carvings are duplicated. Includes full rigging instructions and thread. The kit has never been started. The parts that were factory sealed are still in the sealed bags. The very few parts that were never factory sealed have been inventoried complete including decals, flags and instructions.

Limited issue from the 1970s when AMT bought Frog kits from Great Britain, placed them in US boxes and marketed them in North America. One of two known AMT-Frog issues. Has decals for both Air Forces. High quality Frog kit - no rivets, just fine panel lines for a realistic model. Features separately molded rudder, elevator and ailerons, pilot and gunner figure and detailed engines with rotating propellers. This kit has never been started. It is either still in the internally sealed factory bag or has been inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions.

Early 1960s hardbox is in wonderful condition. The colors and gloss are as new and the box has four perfect corners, no tape or price tags, no fading or tears. The only wear is very light edge wear and a short crease. This issue is dated 1960 but the 100 cent price extension and no 'Famous Fighters' in the sunburst logo dates it from later in the 1960s. Molded in a very deep burgundy and clear. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. The decals and instructions are also in factory-new condition.

2011 issue from high quality Monogram molds. Very large 1/24 scale kit is over 19 inches long when built. Actually, this model is made from the same molds as the Phantom Huey kit from the late 1960s, except it is molded in color and excludes the non-relevant parts. The results is a wonderfully detailed kit with full interior, crew, full instrument panel and radios, detailed engine and transmission, opening cabin doors, and rotating main and tail rotors. Includes XM-16 armament subsystem with quad 7.62 mm machine guns with ammunition belts and two LAU 32A/A (Aero 60) rocket pods. The kit has never been started. Mattel logo issue. Dates from 1967. Very highly detailed. The kit has several action features: When you pull the prop outward and rotate it CCW, the landing gear retracts. Pull it outward and rotate it CW, and the gear extends. Push the prop in, and it freewheels as normal. Kit features a movable control surfaces, highly detailed cockpit, full decals, sliding canopy, bracing material and instructions for rigging. The kit has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete including decals and instructions. The box is only in 'Fair' condition as shown, but the parts, decals and instructions inside are in 'excellent' condition.

She was flown by the famous Al Williams for Gulf Oil at air shows all around North America. Features full cockpit detail, sliding canopy, movable control surfaces, retracting tailwheel, and the main gear retracts and extends when the prop is turned by hand.
