Very rare early kit and the first issue. The 1955 Caddy Coupe de Ville was Monogram's 5th plastic kit; the Midget and Hot Rod were first and second and the Cadillac Convertible the 3rd. It has the correct early colorful and glossy Acetate Plastic. The box is in 'excellent' condition with four solid corners, no repairs, tape, price tags or tag marks and no missing litho, fading or tears. It does have light general wear and some very, very light age spotting. Inside, all original cardboard packing is complete and the small parts are still sealed in the original factory cello bag. This model was issued in several different colors; this one is yellow and white with real rubber tires and chrome plated front and rear bumpers. Kit features full interior, clear windshields, rolling wheels, molded-in underside detail and woman, man and dog passengers. Inside, the small parts are still sealed in the factory 'krinkle' bag. The parts that are not sealed have been inventoried complete and includes excellent instructions. Quality of the chrome is 'near mint' which is rare. NOTE: there is no assembly but there is some very neat & quality painting as follows: the chassis is black ('excellent++' quality); the front and rear windshield frames & headlight trim rings are silver ('near mint' quality) and ash tray lids are silver ('mint'). There is no other painting. This kit is molded in acetate, which means that it has some of the usual warping. The warping would grade as 'average' with the main effect on the front windshield frame (which has a clean split at the center) and separate roof pieces.

Very unusual US Marine spec upgraded Bronco. The OV-10D was developed from the OV-10a. It has a distinctively longer nose with a forward looking infrared sensor and laser designators. The engines are uprated 1040 hp Garrett T76s which allow more ordnance options. The gunship version includes a belly mounted M-97 20mm gun turret, which is included in this kit. 7.6mm gun pods, Sidewinder and Hellfire missiles are also included. Never started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. The box displays better than the 'good-' grade but is rated as such because the Golden Tokens have been cut from the lower long side of the box top & are missing.

Dated 1995. This is an excellent kit of the airborne vengeance weapon launcher with a V-1 missile.
