Monogram Ostwind Flakpanzer IV With Diorama Instructions, 1/32, 8219-0300

1972 Mattel/Monogram release. Very finely molded and detailed kit with traditional high Monogram quality. This vehicle could put up a withering barrage of lead in the path of Allied airmen. The Flakpanzer used a Panzer IV chassis and mounted a 2CM Flakvierling 38 quadruple anti-aircraft gun in an open, rotating armored turret. It could reach 25 mph with the 12 cylinder Maybach engine and had a range of 125 miles. Features rotating turret, elevating guns and gun sight, detailed moving flexible treads and bogeys have spring action. Optional position hatch covers. Includes extra tread links, bogeys, Jerry cans and helmets. The kit has never been started. Inventoried with all parts present, instructions and diorama sheet. NOTE: missing decals. Two leaf springs (do not show when built) are broke but all parts are present. The small front lip of a fender is broken also, and those parts are also present so you can repair it.

SALE!! 1955 hardbox 'Four Star' issue. The original issue is identical but is kit number P6 instead of PA6. It is most likely that this issue was made between 1956 and 1960. Correctly molded in gloss silver and clear. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions.

Comet Douglas A-26 Invader - 30 inch Wingspan - Coca-Cola Bottle Issue, Y2-129

Part of the deluxe high-cost Comet "Y" kit line from the 1950s. Note the box showing a bottle of Coke next to the young builder's snack tray and a finished aircraft. Large scale issue with the 'Coke Bottle' box design. For rubber flight or easily converted to RC using today's tiny and light servos and receivers. Kit features traditional wood/tissue construction, very high quality printwood, stripwood, spars, and other balsa stock as required, wooden scale props, completely preformed wood wheels, metal prop shafts, large insignia sheet with canopy frames, nacelle covers, fillets, etc, cardstock detail parts, covering tissue and superb full size plans with instructions. The model has not been started. It has been inventoried complete. Comet was a famous manufacturer of stick and tissue flying and static models. In the 1930s Great Depression, they lead the low-priced kit revolution with the "Dime Scale" kits and famous advertisements in Model Airplane News magazine and others. Comet reached it's peak in the 1930s when they acquired the services of Carl Goldberg. Goldberg was a highly accomplished modeler with articles in Model Airplane News and famous designs that won him several National level competitions in the 1930s and beyond. (Carl Goldberg went on to found his own company and produced well designed and popular free-flight and RC aircraft). Comet survived the post World War economic slump and continued kit production until they were bought out by long-time competitor Guillow's in 1998.

From 1955 and purchased on 2/27/56. First issue hardbox with script logo and Ray Gaedke illustration. Box originally had the lower price extension on the part number, but has been factory blacked-out and changed to '79.' The kit has never been started. NOTE: missing stand base. Otherwise inventoried with all other parts, decals and instructions. Lindberg is a company with a fascinating history The original 'Lindberg Line' stretches back to the 1930s when Paul Lindberg drew plans for famous modeling magazines and marketed his balsa wood 'stick and tissue' by urging dealers to carry the '...Complete Lindberg Line'. From all new molds and dated 2006. Large kit that is finely detailed and molded with all recessed panel lines. Never started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions. The Type XXI U-Boats were the world's first true submarines; they could travel at high speeds for great distances underwater and attack without visual contact with the targets. The 'snort' allowed them to recharge the batteries and renew the air, eliminating the last needs for surfacing. A development of the Walther Peroxide Boats, the XXIs were seen as a faster way to put a more advanced submarine into service.

For the advanced collector. Very rare and from the early 1930s. Any kit from this era is hard to find, and this one is in exceptional condition. The box is complete with all 6 flaps, no crushing and very little wear. Inside, the model features a still unopened tube of wood glue, high quality printwood and stripwood, balsa stock as required, fully finished wheels, excellent factory-carved wood prop, some bamboo (although most is balsa), a tiny paper sack containing hardware and carved thrust button and excellent full size plans with numerous building notes and tips. Never started and includes all items listed.

Large scale kit with very good detail and many operating features. The doors open and close to show full interior detail, wing flaps lower and raise, elevators and rudder move, wheels and prop rotate and more. With two positionable figures. Engineered to be motorized with spinning prop and working wing landing light. Battery compartment is cleverly hid on the lower side of the fuselage behind the cabin. Also comes with optional parts for non-motorized version. Never started. Inventoried and the aircraft is complete with all parts, decals and instructions but NOTE: missing display stand. Also NOTE: one 1/2 of the vertical fin is broken off at the base. The part is present and fits back perfectly for an easy repair. Tilt (and also Marui) did not furnish the kit with the motor or light; they had to be purchased separately. The motor is a common Mabuchi FA-13 and any small 1.5v railway light would work.
