From well detailed Adams molds and builds an complete mini-diorama. Features detailed gun which elevates and has moving left and right trails, molded base and sandbags, radio, full shells and casings, ammo box and crew of 5 action GIs. Never started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions. These molds must have had a very interesting history. The molds were cut in 1955 or 1956, either at Adams or by one of Revell's contractors. It appeared to be part of the Adams/Revell 1/40 line but Adams never issued the kit. UPC (Universal Power Master) had use of these molds in the 1960s are perhaps the early 1970s; however, the molds were probably in Japan as most if not all the UPC production occurred there. Around this point, SNAP plastics of Hillside, New Jersey acquired this kit along with many of the other ex-Adams military molds. While the UPC issues say 'Made in Japan' the SNAP issues say nothing of the origin of the manufacture; so perhaps they were made in New Jersey. Things get even more interesting with the Life-Like issue. How Life-Like came across the molds is unfortunately unknown but it may have been in a bulk-purchase of molds from SNAP since there were in the same general part of the country. This is simply conjecture, however.

Very rare Revell of Japan hardbox issue that is dated 1967. Most Japan issues have special features; this one is no exception. It includes a very large expanded decal sheet for the usual #61035 but also high-visibility markings for #06029. In addition, it has very large format fold-out instructions. Of the two big UH-1D models issued by Revell, this non-gunship version is the harder one to find. This large model features a 18 inch rotor span, detailed Lycoming T53 Jet Engine with removable cowling, highly detailed interior and cockpit with opening cabin doors and moving rotors. Includes pilot and co-pilot figures. Never started. The plastic parts are still in the internal factory sealed bag, which is the colorful & older Revell Japan bag with red and yellow print showcasing Revell's kit lineup.
Lindberg Monitor and Merrimac Civil War Ironclads - (ex Pyro), 718

1986 issue from quality original Pyro molds. These are considered more accurate than the Lindberg models of the same subject. The box is beat up, but inside everything is like new. Both models have never been started. The parts are still in the the two internal factory sealed bags and includes instructions. These two American Civil War ships spelled the end of the wooden ship age. In March of 1862, the Merrimac put to sea to raise the Union Blockade off the James River. There she sank the Cumberland and Congress. The Monitor, the Union's only ironclad and the first turret ship, was rushed to the scene. The epic battle between the two iron-clad ships ended in a draw, with the Merrimac suffering a little more damage than the Monitor. The Merrimac was blown up to avoid capture; the Monitor sank in a gale in 1862.

Very rare. Large (over 12 inches long) and well detailed kit with very colorful decals. The Miss Budweiser was the most popular Unlimited Racing Hydroplane in the 1970s. She was powered with a 3000 hp supercharged Rolls Royce engine and won the Championship in 1977. Her 'rooster tail' alone was 7 tons of airborne water! Never started.
