SALE!! Includes all five balsa wood flying model kits. The Tern Tiger Moth is a high-quality stick and tissue model. The kit has never been started. The small parts that were factory sealed are still in the sealed bags. The parts that were not factory sealed have been inventoried complete including plans. The SIG '29er is still factory sealed and is also a stick-and-tissue model. All three Guillow's Rubber Free-Flight models are still factory sealed. These are almost ready to fly and are complete with motor stick, die-cut wings and tail feathers, landing gear, propeller and full assembly and trimming instructions on the back of the box.

From the early 1960s. The Privateer was originally a Berkeley design and featured NACA Long Planing Hull Design, preformed engine nacelle, die cut parts, very rugged construction with balsa covered hull, Grade A Balsa, die-cut plywood, covering material, full size plans and more. The kit has never been started. Inventoried and NOTE: missing (1) of (2) parts F10 (bulkhead). One is present so you can easily make a duplicate. Otherwise complete including all other parts, decals and plans. Duke Fox's company 'Fox' was already famous for it's line of reliable model airplane engines and expanded into a line of flying models as well. Berkeley was a very famous manufacture of flying model kits from the Golden Age of flying aviation, about 1932-1954. Founded in 1933 by William Effinger, the company was quite progressive in producing quality kits - it was likely the Berkeley 'Buccaneer' was the first gas powered model in kit form. In the later 1930s, Effinger acquired the services of a very talented Henry Struck. Struck went on to design numerous award-winning kits under the Berkeley name. Berkeley weathered the post WWII recession and emerged as a major kit producer in the late 1940 and 1950s. These were great years for Berkeley and they produced some incredible and large kits. The company went bankrupt in about 1960 however. Fox engines (Duke Fox) bought the company and released the kits alongside his own FOX models and engines. This arrangement did not last, and in the early 1960s the Berkeley name disappeared from hobby shop shelves.

Includes all decals and instructions but NOTE: all three decal sheets have mildew damage. You will need to provide your own decals. The Me-263 was designed to correct some of the Me-163s shortcomings. The ideas were tested on '163s before the first '263 airframe was assembled. Primary differences included lengthen fuselage for increased fuel capacity, pressurized cockpit, dual chamber (full and cruise) rocket engine, bubble canopy and retractable gear. Only two were built and it seems that she never flew under her own power.

Well detailed including full engine and compartment with radiator, battery, washer jar and more, opening hood, detailed underside, full interior, steerable front wheels, all parts for a stock version and numerous exterior and interior parts for a full-blown custom. Molded in white, clear, red-tinted clear, chrome plate and with narrow whitewall rubber tires and metal rear axle. Never started and inventoried complete with all parts and includes self-adhesive chrome foil (Jo-Han's forerunner to Bare Metal Foil) and instructions. NOTE: there is a deep burn on the left front fender top and a shallow burn on the rear trunk.

From 1965. This is one of a very popular line of World War 1 flying aircraft "stick and tissue" kits with 18 inch wingspans. Features scale plastic wheels, plastic propeller, light vacuform nose cowl, die cut balsa parts, covering tissue, rubber motor and full decals. Includes full size, detailed plans. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. Guillow's founder, Paul K. Guillow, was a WWI naval aviator. In 1926 he began producing wooden model airplane kits. His 'Shelf Models' were some of the earlier non-flying models in production. Guillow's grew during the model boom of the 1930s, and when the Depression hit the hardest, Guillow's responded with lower prices and became one of the low price leaders, frequently advertising in Model Airplane News and other leading publications. During the war, like most manufacturers, Guillow's was forced to alternative materials such as cardboard and pine. Guillow's survived the post WWII slump by creating many inexpensive profile flying rubber powered aircraft and gliders in the 1950s (along with North Pacific) which became famous - some are still available today. The stick and tissue lines have been updated with laser cut parts and are still in production as of 2009.

NOTE: this is a bagged kit; there is no box. The box is shown for reference only. 1968 issue of the famous tandem light aircraft that saw civil and military service. After Aurora purchased the Comet molds, they reissued the Comet civil light aircraft line. It appears that Aurora may have been inspired by the Comet kits or sales of the reissues, and they produced several more new molds to add to the line. This Skymaster is one of those kits. Since the model was designed new, it has significantly more detail than the older Comet kits. Features all recessed panel lines, full interior with front and back bulkheads, four bucket seats and instrument panel, clear windows and rotating propellers. The kit has never been started. Inventoried and NOTE: missing the square nose gear door, which is easily made from flat styrene stock. Otherwise complete with all other pieces, decals and instructions. NOTE: decals are 100% complete and in very good condition, but the backing paper only has been neatly cut into three sections. No actual decals were cut; they are all completely intact.

SALE!! Dated 1978. Very nicely done model of this 1930's flying boat. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. NOTE: part #27 (elevator half) is broken in the center where it is very small. All parts are present; very easily fixed by gluing to the other half. The Stranraer was one of several successful flying boats designed by RJ Mitchell for the RAF. Experience gained with the Southampton and Scapa flying boats was put to good use in design of the Stranraer which featured an all metal structure. Although replaced operationally with the Sunderland, examples of this aircraft were used till 1942 in WWII and many flew long after the war was over.
