Very rare. Likely from the 1940s. William H Low Co., of Braintree Mass., issued the 'Wilo Line' which featured a superb series of antique commercial firefighting equipment, all in 1/48 scale. Bill Low was the designer of all kits and he was a superb model maker. The scale is given as 1/2" and the finished model wagon is approximately 7 inches long without the horse hitch and ~ 12 inches long with it. The kits were very advanced for the time and shared many of the pre-fabrication methods of Hudson Miniatures. Wilo Line kits features "all parts in this kit cut to size and shape." Includes plastic injection molded spoke wheels, precut and machined large and small wooden parts, beautiful, metal stock, a sealed bag of smaller parts including a great many more fully carved wood parts, metal parts and full size plans with numerous drawings and detailed text instructions. There is even a big photo of the actual prototype. The kit has never been started. Internal factory sealed small-parts bags with the non-sealed parts inventoried complete including instructions/plans. The kits in this line include Amoskeag Steamer, Hose Reel, Hose Wagon, Chemical Engine and many others. In most cases they are the only kits in existence of these historic vehicles. Bill Low did design at least one 'non-fire truck' kit in his Will-O-Line - a Conestoga Wagon, advertised as being 1/24 scale, kit #B14 for $2.85 listed as "This is another Museum Piece by Bill Low." After seeing these fire truck kits, I do not doubt that.

Very rare original issue from late 1967/68. Features all parts to build one of the three listed versions, detailed 400 CID stock engine or blown racing version, opening stock or clear racing hood, detailed chassis with stock differential, exhaust & driveline or detailed funny car front and rear suspension, steering linkage, complete stock or racing interior with roll cage, hood tach, optional trailer hitch and trailer mirrors for each side, rear air foil, and more. Molded in white, chrome, clear, red-tinted clear and rubber tires. NOTE: this kit has minor assembly as follows: hood tach to stock hood; glue & plastic remnants on the interior roof of the body. The windshield is mint and was never glued in, however. It fits in fine. There is no other assembly. Inventoried and NOTE: missing one side spoiler support. Includes all other parts, decals and instructions. NOTE: decals are peeling badly.

This is the only 1/72 scale injection molded kit of the amazing Valkyrie bomber prototype that rode its own supersonic shock wave to incredible Mach 3+ speeds. Very large and well detailed model measures over 31 inches in length when assembled and features highly detailed cockpit and ejection seat escape system, landing gear and gear wells and YJ-93 turbojet engines with afterburners. While the box is only 'fair', the kit inside is mint and the decals and instructions are both in 'near mint+' condition.

Still factory sealed. Large scale and well detailed model of the largest tonnage displacement JMSDF vessel commissioned since WWII. The Soryu class has 12 submarines total planned and are being built in Mitsubishi and Kawasaki shipyards. The first two launched were Soryu and Unryu, both named after Japanese Aircraft Carriers of World War II. These are updated Oyashio class boats with four Stirling Air-Independent Propulsion (AIP) engines, two Kawasaki diesel engines and two electric motors. Armament includes Type 89 torpedoes and UGM-84 Harpoon missiles.

Rare original hardbox issue dated 1966. From 1924 to 1930, this 660 lb "Jack the Giant Killer" raced and won against the traditional 2,000 lb juggernauts of the day. Other than light weight, the design had many first such as cast aluminum wheels with integral cast brake drums, solid forged bar front axle, two liter straight eight engine with single overhead cam and three valves per cylinder, two exhausts and one intake with the combined area of the exhaust valves greater than the intake to scavenge the burned gases and more. This well detailed kit is molded in blue, silver, nickel plate, yellow, white, clear & with rubber tires and included authentic leather-like material. Features fully detailed engine, suspension and undercarriage, removable hood, optional parts for race or street versions and hay bales and guard rail for diorama display. Never started. It has been inventoried complete with all car parts and plastic accessories and includes decals and instructions. Please NOTE that the green material for the display has almost self-destructed, which is almost always the case. I have placed the remains in a zip lock bag. You can easily replace it with foam available at a craft store.
