1950s type two box with great artwork. This is an excellent kit with good detail. It features separately molded control surfaces, cockpit detail, optional position cabin door, retracting undercarriage, rotating props, boarding stairs, stewardess, family (mother, father and son) and business man as well as two seated pilots. The Heron was the result of a larger and redesigned Dove and first flew in 1950. It's ability to operate from rough fields and ease of maintenance quickly make it a favorite for feeder and independent airlines in the UK and overseas. Heron IIs were also selected by the RAF for the Queens Flight, which is a statement to it's reliability and safety. Never started. Rare. Large 1/100 scale kit with large, extensive KLM decals that include all stripes. The kit is molded in white, black, silver and clear. KVZ was the logo used by this East German kit manufacturer from 1969 into the 1970s. During this time, some fantastic Cold War kits were produced of Russian Airliners and Military Helicopters and Aircraft. Never started. Still factory sealed. This is one of Renewal's famous Aeroskin kits, and a rare large one in 1/48. Features markings for the aircraft of "High Hat Squadron", VF-1B commander Seligman aboard the USS Saratoga in the early 1930s. The model has an injection molded inner structure of ribs and stringers like a real aircraft, then the modeler covers it with provided authentic pre-colored Aeroskin fabric. There is no painting needed as elaborate finishes are printed directly on the Aeroskin covering. This results a very realistic and colorful model.

From ex-Frog molds. Well done model of the high speed British research aircraft. Never started. Factory sealed bag or inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. Box art is by the famous Jo Kotula who did 1930s covers for the magazine 'Model Airplane News' and later the Aurora box art of the late 1950s. Air Lines kits are all Frog molds that the Lines Brothers imported to the USA between 1964-1966. The kits, decals and instructions were made in England, then imported to the USA where Testors created the boxes with the colorful trading cards on the back. There are one or two trading cards on each box which show the boxart but not the advertising/logo.
