Original issue 4-Star kit from 1961. Very highly detailed. The kit has several action features: When you pull the prop outward and rotate it CCW, the landing gear retracts. Pull it outward and rotate it CW, and the gear extends. Push the prop in, and it freewheels as normal. Kit features a movable control surfaces, highly detailed cockpit, full decals, sliding canopy, bracing material and instructions for rigging. Molded in red, yellow, silver and clear. The kit has never been started. Internal factory sealed bag or inventoried 100% complete including decals and instructions. NOTE: the decals are visibly cracked and have some peeling. The instrument panel has been cut out and is missing - the other decals are present.

This kit contains the parts needed to perform a conversion of the still-available Heller civil L-1049 to the USAF EC-121H or the USN WV-2. The kit was owned by a professional model builder who cut out the parts. This was done very accurately and correctly. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts and instructions.

1964 issue. Fantastic box art by John Steel. This is an early issue that has the factory painted copper hull below the waterline. Condition of the factory paint is excellent. The kit is molded in black, dark brown and ivory/white. Large and highly detailed kit. Measures 36 inches long and 22 inches high when assembled. Classic large 1/12 scale 1959 kit of the famous Wright Cyclone 9 (C9HE) that powered The SBD Dauntless, B-17, DC-3, A-12, SA-16 Albatross, Stratoliner, B-18, B-10 and so many other aircraft. Molded in black, red, grey and copper so no painting is needed. Has cut-away operational cylinder if you wish to add it. I am unsure of the manufacture of this kit - it may be Ogonjek. Feel free to email me if you can help. But it is certainly of Soviet manufacture, but the molds are the high quality Heller kit. The box is rough as shown, but inside the kit has never been started and is still sealed in the factory bags and the moldings are very clean with little or no flash. Instructions are included and are in very good condition.
