This kit is from Airfix molds and is one of the MPC '3 Big Bonus' features series. Dates from the late 1960s/early 1970s. The model features customizing parts (such as chrome plated bombs, missiles, prop, exhaust, air scoops, antenna and guns) and the clear modular display stand. Note that this issue still has 'Craft Master' under the MPC logo. Before this, MPC was marketing Airfix kits under the Craftmaster name in the USA. This continued for several issues and was finally discontinued although MPC continued to distribute Airfix and their own models. This kit has never been started. NOTE: missing decals. Inventoried with all other aircraft parts, modular stand, custom chrome parts and instructions.

Type Three logo issue. As her sister Rodney, she was designed with her main battery of 16" guns in triple turrets forward to make the armored box shorter to save weight. This did shorten the ship and reduce weight, but further sacrifices in available space and weight in propulsion made for a low top speed. Never started. Aurora knew that it's old 1950s molds were outclassed by the late 60s and cut a new series of molds including several ships and helicopters. The molds were of high quality, and this is one of those kits. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts decals and instructions. NOTE: decals and instructions are water damaged. The instructions are complete and fully usable - the decals are heavily water damaged.

This kit is originally from Revell molds. This is the Entex issue from those original molds. Large and highly detailed kit. Just about every aftermarket photo-etched accessory you can imagine is available for this kit, so you can create a museum masterpiece if you wish. NOTE: The display base stands, hull stabilizers and prop shaft fairings have been assembled and below the waterline has been painted. The quality of assembly and paint is excellent. There is no other assembly and other painting. Some bags are still internal factory sealed. The opened ones have been inventoried complete including decals and instructions.

Large and highly detailed. After the Titanic was found, many modelers and historians corrected numerous details of this famous ship. Mincraft followed by modifying the molds of the classic 1/350 kit to include many of these corrections. Photoetched railings and rat lines were added also. The model is over 30 inches long when assembled. Just about every aftermarket photo-etched accessory you can imagine is available for this kit (I recommend the ones from Tom's Modelworks and Perry's Gold Medal Models), so you can create a museum masterpiece if you wish.
