Very rare. 1932 early RTF stick-and-tissue model from Western Aircraft Manufacturing Company, Los Angeles California. The box and kit are both in investment-grade 'near mint' condition. I had seen these in 1930s magazines but did not know if any were left. All of the pieces of this aircraft have been factory assembled and simply need to be put together with the supplied rubber bands. The fuselage/rubber stick is cut, finished & painted and has both metal rubber motor clips installed. The wing, vertical and horizontal stabilizers are fully assembled of light-weight wood with the tissue applied. The horizontal stabilizer and wing have the correct airfoil camber built in, and the wing has the USA national insignia applied. There is a perfectly carved wooden propeller, metal rubber hook/propeller shaft, two fully finished wheels, other wood parts cut to size and ready to install. Even the original rubber bands used for installing sub-assembles together are present and still intact on the motor stick. The rubber band motor is present but very brittle and broken into many sections. There is an excellent set of front and back illustrated instructions that cover assembly, how to fly and adjust the aircraft and how to maintain it. Please note, this model must be shipped insured.

Rare first issue hardbox dated 1964 is 100% correct and complete. Not a modern reissue. This famous Aurora Monster kit shows Dr. Jekyll trying to reverse the overwhelming effect of Mr. Hyde. Features large-scale figure with lab coat and flask, laboratory base, lab table and stool, test tubes and base, beaker with spilled liquid, chemical decanter, flask with tube and stand, bunson burner, spider web, rat and name plate. Molded in the correct ivory plastic. Never started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes instructions in 'excellent' condition. The box has excellent color and gloss, four solid corners, no repairs, no fading stains or price tags, no tape or tape marks and no tears or missing litho but is only graded 'good+' because the long sides are bowed out as shown, there is a crease at the lower right and there is light general wear. Rare hardbox kit from 1961 has fantastic artwork of an RAF Canberra flying over 'The Rock'. This example is in amazing investment-grade 'Near Mint' condition with factory new color and gloss, four solid and original corners, no repairs, no fading, creasing or tears, no price tags or tag marks and no tape or tape marks at all. The only flaws are very light wear as hown on the box top. Based on the 1950s B-57 "S" kit, the Whip-Fly Canberra comes with RAF decals, flight ballast, control handle, 12 feet of control line, control ring, colorful streamers for the jet engines and a underside pod which is a in-flight whistle! Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions included. Included in the famous 'Whip Fly' series are the H151 F9F-8 Cougar, H152 F-84F, H153 F-89D Scorpion, H154 F8U-1 Crusader, H155 F-39 Airacobra and H156 F-101A Voodoo. Although not listed yet, there was also a Whip-Fly Canberra, F-106 and Yak-25 Flashlight. The Whip-Fly series seemed like a good idea...at first. Revell quickly realized that spinning heavily-ballasted, sharp objects at dizzying speeds in or outside the home near groups of children was not the best idea. The series was quickly discontinued.

Rare first issue dated 1959. This is one of a very famous series of space kits that Monogram made with the designer Willey Ley. The model is molded in three colors and features a two stage rocket with separating stages, upper shuttle craft, retracting landing gear, launching pad and five figures. Never started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals, instructions and the special "Passenger Rocket" booklet. The decals are in amazing 'excellent++' condition, as are the instructions and booklet. The box has 'very good' color and gloss, four solid corners, no missing litho and no repairs, fading or stains. There is light general wear, edge and corner wear and the long sides of the box are bowed out slightly.

This model is from about 1955/56 and is part of Strombecker's incredibly famous science fiction series released with Disney's landmark 'Man in Space' movie series. This kit is a completely transparent model of the three stage rocket and satellite. Has colorful paper inserts that go on the inside of the parts to show the interior of the missile such as liquid and solid fuel tanks, fuel system, launcher details, etc. Features launch base, three separating stages and metal 'satellite'. Includes completely pre-molded and shaped pressed-wood hull in solid, "near mint" condition, two sheets of cleanly done printwood, two sheets of quality cardstock ("Due to war emergency and government restrictions" according to a special paper insert) and wood stock in many shapes and sizes. Includes excellent full size plans and instructions. The plans show numerous detail views of the ships details and superstructure. Never started and complete.

Dated 1954. Rare, desirable and very collectible one-and-only issue of this classic early multi-media kit with a fantastic internal box presentation. Includes numerous plastic parts in red, gray, clear and black, four unopened glass bottle of Mono*Dope that are still good, an unopened tube of MonoGlue still in the original mint box, all prefabricated wooden parts including the amazing Monofoil wing, three sheets of die-cut and factory painted wood (intact and unpunched), colored die-cut cardstock sheet, sandpaper, gun barrel plastic material, decals in amazing 'excellent' condition, 'near mint' instruction book and full size plans. Inside, the kit is factory new. All of the factory cardboard presentation material is present and in amazing 'near mint++' condition. The kit has never been started. The small parts in the three lower trays are still factory tape sealed. All other pieces were never sealed and they have been carefully inventoried complete with all parts, paperwork, instructions, plans and decals. The box top is graded well above average as 'excellent.' It has superb color and gloss but moderate edge wear at the center top as shown, a light crease at the lower right, other general wear and a very small factory tape tear on thye upper long side measuring 1/2" by 1/4 inch. Amazingly, the celluloid plastic parts range from no warping to very slight warping. This is very rare, as that type of plastic was unstable and warped easily over time. Before injection molded plastic kits were common, Monogram issued the famous 'Speedee-Bilt' and 'Super Kits' which featured injection molded details and precarved wooden parts. Of these, the Speedee-Bilt B-24 and B-17 were the finest. These kits are very rare today due to their relatively high original price of $4.95 and the fact that plastic kits had just come to the US market a year before and were gaining market share very rapidly. This kit must be shipped insured.
