1983 Heritage Edition. Very highly detailed kit of the civil F3F biplane fighter. The Gulfhawk was one of the most famous aircraft of the 1930s. She was flown by the famous Al Williams for Gulf Oil at air shows all around North America. Features full cockpit detail, sliding canopy, movable control surfaces, retracting tailwheel, and the main gear retracts and extends when the prop is turned by hand! The kit has never been started. The parts that were factory sealed are still in the sealed bags. The parts that were not factory sealed have been inventoried complete including decals and instructions. The decals are excellent, but before you use them please read the articles (located on this website) about saving old decals.

He was very precise; the canopy is bagged separate to prevent scratching, the small parts are in a zip lock for protection and then put into a larger sealed bag with the bigger parts and instructions. Decals are excellent. From 1990. Has a colorful decal sheet for the cover aircraft in the Pacific Theater. Well detailed kit features full cockpit, opening canopy, complete engine with removable cowling doors, optional position landing gear, and rotating prop and wheels. The kit has never been started. New in the box and rare in this condition. It has never been run, cleaned or polished. The engine is 'free.' I can find no evidence of use. However, the prop nut has wear, so it has had a prop fitted to it at some point, which means it was probably put in a model that never flew. Serial number is 44252, and the box has this number hand-written in the proper blank spot by the factory inspector 'WB' who hand initialed it. Includes the box in 'very good' complete condition, one ignition wire, Ohlsson & Rice Manual in excellent condition, 1945 Parts List in excellent condition and Ohlsson & Rice Guarantee Card in near mint condition. There is no coil or condenser.

Very rare, especially when found in new in the box. From the late 1940s or early 1950s. The box in in 'very good++' condition. General wear is the only flaw. The display box folds very nicely so you can show it either way. It has never been flown. It is designed for a McCoy 29 size engine (not included). NOTE: this kit has very minor assembly. Final fitting and trimming was done to the wooden center spar and the bell crank was fit to the spar. Quality of work is 'excellent' and the spar fits perfectly now. There has been no other assembly. The model has been inventoried with all airplane parts present, the Duro-Matic booklet 'Speed Tips", large fold-out plans/instructions and additional fuel tank instructions. NOTE: missing decal. This kit must be shipped insured.
