Aurora Grumman F9F Panther Jet, 1/49, 22-100

Plastic Model Kit,   Box Condition: Good-

Sold

Dated 1960, but I believe this is actually a later issue due to the 100 cent price extension and no 'Famous Fighters' logo on the short box sides. Molded in a brilliant gloss deep blue and clear with the clear triangle 'World' stand. These molds are from one of Aurora's first two kits - the F9F and F-90. Aurora simply went out and purchased the early Hawk F9F and F-90 kits and copied them almost exactly. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions.

Monogram Grumman F6F-5 Hellcat - (F6F5), 1/48, 85-0080

Plastic Model Kit,   Box Condition: Sealed VG+

Still factory sealed. 1999 reissue of the classic Four Star kit from 1963. It has the original box art and is even molded in blue, black and clear like the first issue. Features correctly folding wings, retractable main landing gear and tail wheel + arresting hook, rotating wheels and propeller, pilot figure, bombs, drop tanks and rockets. The box displays better than the 'Sealed Exc' rating but is graded as such because there is a slight dent on the right short side and a short knife cut on the right front.

Plastic Model Kit,   Box Condition: Good-

Sold

Rare 1956 first issue in nice condition. The box has good color and gloss, no price tags or tag marks, no tape (other than the factory sealing tape) and is complete. However, there is a fair amount of even, moderate wear, edge wear (especially on the lower long side) and a stain shown at the center far right edge. Three corners had closed splits and have been correctly and neatly repaired from inside. There is a narrow, 1.5" long factory tape tear on the lower long side. Highly detailed set includes both kits - the High Speed Tractor and the Long Tom 155mm gun. Has many working features - the tractor has movable tracks and working bogies, rotating and elevating machine gun, driver and interior details. Revell Jupiter with Truck and Trailer US Army IRBM -, 1/100, H1824-129

Plastic Model Kit,   Box Condition: Good

Very rare, one-and-only issue from 1958. When the "Missile Boom" in model kits started, Revell lead the pack with a huge line. To make them more interesting, they included any extras they could think of such as launchers, trucks, trailers, cranes, gantry, ground crew, etc. The Jupiter features many interesting accessories and action features as well. The loading crane elevates and swivels 360 degrees and can be fully rigged with blocks and tackle, and the entire load-to-launching process can be duplicated with the trailer, truck, crane and launch pad. Includes a crew of 4, textured concrete base and missile launch pad. Molded in correct white and olive drab. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions.
