From 1956 and the rare first issue of this classic kit. Please note the early rectangular logo "Aurora Line" logo. It is molded in silver and clear plastic and includes the correct early rectangular clear base Aurora stand, the correct instructions showing this base, and the correct early Tatem decals which Aurora issued without a stand decal. (Aurora included stand decals with the introduction of the triangular 'world' base style clear stand.) Molded in silver and clear plastic. The kit has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. Please NOTE that the box displays better than the 'fair++' grade is because the box has a thin border of masking tape along the lower sides.

The Fl-282 was a successful German WWII helicopter design and the first with counter-rotating intermeshing blades (in 1938). A further development of the Fl-265, flight tests showed that the Fl-282 was an excellent helicopter. It even flew from destroyers and minelayers while underway in the Baltic and Med. 1000 were ordered, but by the end of WWII only 24 had been built.

Still factory sealed and very rare in this condition. The box is in investment-grade 'Near Mint+' condition and the seal is 100% present with just one small 2" split. This late 1950s hardbox issue has incredible Ray Gaedke artwork. The large 1/48 scale F-100 features movable rudder, elevators and ailerons, detailed ejection seat, pilot, full jet engine detail with opening engine access hatch and a load-out of two drop tanks and 8 missiles. Includes colorful decals for the box art aircraft.
