The kit has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete including decals and instructions. NOTE: the decals are intact, but the factory wax paper is stuck to the decals. Dated 1957 on the instructions. This is the second issue of this kit; please note the 'Famous Fighters' in the border of the logo, the 98 cent price extension, the 98 cent 'price circle' to the far right near the logo and no Parents' Magazine Seal. The first issue is identical inside but has two airborne aircraft on the box artwork. Kit features retractable landing gear, removable tail section and jet engine. Molded in bright glossy gray and clear. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. NOTE: the box would grade higher than 'very good+' but there is a tape tear on one long side (from the factory tape) and a closed split on the other long side.

Comet Curtiss Robin - 22 inch Wingspan Balsa Flying Model Airplane, 3303

There are two versions of the Robin from Comet from this time period (1960s/70s) - this is the one with the larger 22 inch wingspan. Kit features traditional wood/tissue construction, detailed full size plans, building instructions, hardware, wheels and canopy material (if required), tissue, rubber and propeller. The model has not been started. Inventoried complete with all parts and instructions. Comet was a famous manufacturer of stick and tissue flying and static models. In the 1930s Great Depression, they lead the low-priced kit revolution with the "Dime Scale" kits and famous advertisements in Model Airplane News magazine and others. Comet reached it's peak in the 1930s when they acquired the services of Carl Goldberg. Goldberg was a highly accomplished modeler with articles in Model Airplane News and famous designs that won him several National level competitions in the 1930s and beyond. (Carl Goldberg went on to found his own company and produced well designed and popular free-flight and RC aircraft). Comet survived the post World War economic slump and continued kit production until they were bought out by long-time competitor Guillow's in 1998.

Aurora Piper Aztec C, 1/72, 282-70

1968 issue and still the only injection molded Aztec kit. After Aurora purchased the Comet molds, they reissued the Comet civil light aircraft line. It appears that Aurora may have been inspired by the Comet kits or sales of the reissues, and they produced several more new molds to add to the line. This Aztec is one of those kits. Since the kit was designed new, it has significantly more detail than the older Comet kits. Features all recessed panel lines, full interior with a sofa, four seats and instrument panel, optional position landing gear and rotating propellers. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions.

From LS molds. Remarkable life-size highly detailed model of the famous .44 Magnum, first developed in 1956. The LS line of full size handguns is widely considered the finest of all plastic firearm replicas. Includes most internal details, numerous metal parts and sprints and functioning mechanism. You can load it and fire the plastic shells. Features very realistic gunmetal and wood colored parts, brass plated cartridges, chrome Smith and Wesson badges and even barrel and stock weights for the right 'feel.' Not an operating gun but a very realistic replica. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes instructions. Lindberg is a company with a fascinating history The original 'Lindberg Line' stretches back to the 1930s when Paul Lindberg drew plans for famous modeling magazines and marketed his balsa wood 'stick and tissue' by urging dealers to carry the '...Complete Lindberg Line'. Rosebud Kitmaster English Electric Deltic Diesel Locomotive, HO, 10

Very nice model of an usual subject. The Deltic was a very powerful locomotive for passenger and freight service. It weighed 106 tons, had a top speed of 105 mph and included two diesel engines that produced 3,300 horsepower. The model is nicely molded and includes detailed front and rear cabins and trucks. This is a static plastic model only, although some people have motorized them. NOTE: this kit has minor, neat construction. The windows to the front and back have been installed; quality of construction is 'professional.' There is no other assembly and zero painting. The kit has been inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. The decals have a short closed tear on one 'Deltic' logo.

Second logo issue kit from the late 1950s. Includes rare civil decals and paint scheme information for G-AMYV Silver City Airliner and military C-47. This kit is nicely detailed and molded for it's time. The gear retracts and extends, the elevator, rudder and ailerons move, props and wheels rotate, the rear and front doors can be positioned opened or closed, and there is an interior bulkhead and floor at the rear of the fuselage. Includes paratrooper, airline steward figure and two pilots. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. Silver City was a independent British Airline that operated up to 15 DC-3s and was well known for it's Air Ferry Service with the Bristol Superfreighter (which Airfix also made a kit of).

Still factory sealed. Type 3 logo 1960s issue 'Porcupine'. Older but nicely detailed model features beaching gear, rotating turrets with elevating guns, movable control surfaces, external bomb load and rotating props. The Sunderland's 21-year record with the RAF has made it a legend. Derived from the Empire Class Flying Boat Airliners, Sunderland IIIs had a top speed of 210 mph and an endurance of 12 hours. These qualities made the Sunderland a superb platform for North Sea and North Atlantic patrols, ASW and SAR. Crews usually loved the airplane; its large size afforded many airborne comforts that bomber or fighter crews could only dream of, such as bunk, a head and an area for food preparation.
