The only 1/700 model made of this ship. Rare waterline kit featuring superb resin cast hull (with greater detail than is possible with injection molding), resin detail parts (larger parts), a great many precision metal cast smaller detail parts, metal stock and full instructions. There is an excellent and extensive factory sealed decal sheet for these ships: Exeter D89 / D90 Southampton / D91 Nottingham / D92 Liverpool / D86 Birmingham / D108 Cardiff / D87 Newcastle / D88 Glasgow. This is a surprise (as they are not from this class!), but from this sheet you can make the hull numbers for the ships listed in the kit title. That may have been the intention at Pit Road. The instructions are heavily illustrated and detailed and there are full-size elevation and overhead views. The kit has never been started. Museum quality plank on frame kit of one of the fastest cutters. Highly detailed with pre-cut shaped hardwood frames, ready shaped bow and stern pieces, metal and brass fittings, plans, instructions and all parts needed to complete the model. There is even an entire 91 page book on how to build this kit, written by Arthur C. Montgomery. The book is very detailed and highly illustrated. Inside, it is like new. The kit has never been started. The parts that were factory sealed are still in the sealed bags.
