The LaGG 3 has decals for two different USSR aircraft, the Mig 3 for three different aircraft, the Yak-3 for 2 different Normandie-Niemen squadrons and the Anatra DS has markings for two different WWI Russian schemes. The kits are cleanly molded. They have never been started and are all still in factory sealed bags. The large decal sheet is excellent, as are the instructions.

Rare kit from this French manufacture. The kit was issued with two complete kits inside; this contains both kits which are still factory sealed. The Eole is thought to be among the first aircraft to achieved powered flight but did not have a method of control. Features 53 parts, rigging material, beautiful blue/violet fabric for realistic covering, fabric cutting guide and excellent illustrated + text instructions. Never started. 1980 issue. From original Pyro molds dated 1966. Full hull kit with very good molded detail, pre-molded ratlines, detailed deck, billowing sails and display stand. Measures just over 9.5 inches inches long when assembled. Molded in swirl wood tan and off-white. NOTE: this kit has minor very neat assembly. The hull halves and decking have been assembled, as well at the lower and upper masts. Quality of assembly is 'professional.' There is no other assembly and zero painting. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts and instructions. The British Bomb Ketch was often called 'a ship without a foremast'. A heavily padded well was built into the deck in place of the usual foremast. A heavy mortar was tied down into this well. These ships were used to bombard shore installations that smaller cannons had no effect on. The bombs weight about 200 pounds as compared to the usual 48 pounds from the largest naval guns of the time. The entire ship was aimed to fire the mortar. The mortar first used in this type vessel was used until the second world war with very little change in design except for the the controls and firing mechanism. This was originally one of the 'intermediate' line of Pyro ship kits, which in 1966 Pyro called '$1.00 Models'. All were roughly the same size and were a significant increase in detail from the '50 Cent Models'. Kits in the $1.00 line in '66 included the Skipjack, Cutty Sark, Charles W. Morgan, HMS Bounty, HMS Ark Royal, USS Constellation, British Bomb Ketch, Chinese War Junk, Elsie - Gloucester Fisherman, Burma River Pirate, Racing Yawl, Polynesian Outrigger and others. 50 Cent kits in 1966 included the Mayflower, Barbary Pirate, USS Constitution, Santa Maria, Golden Hind, Half Moon, Bon Homme Richard, Brig of War, HMS Victory, Flying Cloud, Nina, Pinta, Santa Maria and others.

From the mid 1960s. Full hull kit with very good molded detail, vacuform billowing sails and display stand. Measures about 8.5 inches long when assembled. Molded in white. A photo of the built kit on the instructions serves as a standing rigging diagram. Never started. NOTE: missing rudder. A tracing of the original rudder in included as it can be made from flat stock plastic. Otherwise inventoried with all other parts including sails and instructions. The Pyro company chose many of it's kit subjects based more on historical significance than popularity. Luckily for us, Pyro not only made these kits but did an excellent job for the time. To this day they are often the only kit ever available of such subjects.

The I-400 was a huge 400 foot long submarine that carried three seaplanes. Originally it was intended to launch it's aircraft against the Panama Canal, but this attack never materialized. Three of the seventeen subs originally planned for this class were completed.
