Monogram Grumman Gulfhawk, 1/32, 6053

1983 Heritage Edition. Very highly detailed kit of the civil F3F biplane fighter. The Gulfhawk was one of the most famous aircraft of the 1930s. She was flown by the famous Al Williams for Gulf Oil at air shows all around North America. Full cockpit detail, sliding canopy, movable control surfaces, retracting tailwheel, and the main gear retracts and extends when the prop is turned by hand! The kit has never been started. The parts that were factory sealed are still in the sealed bags. The parts that were not factory sealed have been inventoried complete including decals and instructions. NOTE: Builder kit only. Box has mouse damage as shown. Decals have light stains on the backing paper but not on the actual transfers.

Still factory sealed. The Cougar II was a Ford 'Concept Car' first shown in 1964 and was touted as Ford's response to the Chevrolet Corvette Stingray. The Cougar II sported 'Vette-like looks, pop up headlights, up-swept tail, wrap around backlight, seating for two and sports car wheels. Actually, nothing could have been further from the truth. The Cougar II was just a teaser and had nothing in common with the Mercury Cougar, which was based on the Mustang. Kit features opening doors, steerable wheels, opening front hood, detailed 260 CID engine, chrome wire wheels, detailed racing tires, retractable headlamps, tubular frame and complete interior.

Still factory sealed. 1972 issue. Large scale kit with excellent details and billowing sails. The Mayflower was the Pilgrim ship which English colonists sailed to 'The New World' in 1620. She was a normal small merchant ship of the period and was likely built at the end of the 16th century and probably displaced 180 tons loaded.

The Cadillac V-16 series is a true American Classic, known for it's stately lines and effortless motion. This kit features over 160 parts and is very nicely molded. Features super-detailed V-16 engine, steerable wheels, 2 side mount tires, partition glass, Chauffeur's Top, opening hood, spoke wheels, rubber tires with white sidewall inserts, super detailed rolling chassis, full interior and optional "Pilot Ray" accessory lights. Molded in chrome, black, clear, red and rubber with a large tree of chrome plated parts. Very good molded detail from the wicker sides to the crest on the rear seat top. Never started. In the early to mid 1960s the Pyro company chose many of it's kit subjects based more on historical significance than popularity. Luckily for us, Pyro not only made these kits but did an excellent job for the time. The Pyro car models are based on the actual cars that Pyro engineers and designers had access to. In some cases, the specific car and owner is on the box. The model includes rubber tires, brass plated parts, blue injection molded parts and clear parts. Features detailed chassis, complete motor and interior and a removable hood or 'bonnet'. This kit has not been started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts and instructions.

Ogonjek Russian Imperial Navy Goto Predestinatsia 1711, 1/88

"Rare kit from Ogonjek, Moscow. Probably made in the 1970s or early 1980s, but the exact date is not known. This kit is not listed in Burn's CVG. Large scale model is injection molded in dark wood brown, very light tan/green, medium wood tan and with full vacuform sails. The scale is approximate; the hull alone measures about 16 inches long. Full hull kit has a large number of pieces, around 200 as a guess. Features full deck fittings, display stand, an excellent jig for making ratlines (similar to Heller), diagrams for rat lines, full rigging diagrams, full size flag patterns and more. The kit has never been started. Missing one part: #58 wall. This is a simple, flat rectangle that can be easily made. Inventoried with all other parts and instructions. The box is complete but has wear as shown. The 'Goto Predestinatsia' (God's Predestination, literally The Providence of God) was an Imperial Russian 18th century ship mounting 58 guns. She was the first Russian ship of the line and the first ship of this rate built in Russia without any help from foreign experts. She was commissioned on April 27, 1700 at the Voronezh Admiralty wharf, and was in service until 1711 as a part of the Azov flotilla. After the unsuccessful Prut campaign and the loss of Azov the Goto Predestinatsia was sold to the Ottoman Empire.

MiniHobby Italian R.N. Pola Heavy Cruiser, 1/350, 80705

Large and highly detailed kit over 200 parts. The Pola was the last of the Zara class heavy cruisers and was very fast at over 35 knots and well armed with 8 x 8" guns. She has the misfortune to be at Matapan with her sisters Zara and Fiume. The two sisters were sunk at very close range by the HMS Warspite. The Pola had been immobilized by an earlier aerial torpedo hit. She was unable to help her sisters and was scuttled on March 9, 1941. Never started. Factory sealed internal bags with decals and instructions.

Laconia kits were popular for their high level of detail in the late 1940s/early 1950s. This gondola kit features metal ladders, accurately pre-cut wooden parts and fully decorated embossed sides and ends in mint condition. Kit has not been started and is complete with all parts, instructions and fittings. As is typical of most kits of this era, the model does not include trucks. These make great stand alone models or high-quality rolling stock for your line. Some modeling skills recommended.
